Workout, Wine, and Shrimp

After breakfast, I relaxed and watched Slumdog Millionaire. My sister recommended it so I downloaded it off a free movie site. It was pretty good!

I got hungry around 2 so I made a yummy wrap.

It had 2 slices of Board Head Low Salt Turkey, 1 slice Turkey Pastrami, 1 Slice Fat Free American Cheese, hummus, mustard, cucumbers, lettuce, and banana peppers on a whole wheat wrap.

With some Popchips, cucumbers, and hummus on the side.

I made another one of my favorite desserts.

I should probably stop eating this after every meal since it adds unnecessary extra calories to my day but it is just so good!
Around 4, I was finally ready to go tanning and to the gym. I was feeling a little hungry again for some reason so I had a Z-bar!
I walked 20 minutes to the tanning place and 15 minutes back to the gym. The sidewalks were all so icy! You would think they would salt them better in a city were everyone walks to get from one place to the next. I slid a few times but luckily did not fall.
I ended up working out for pretty long today. I stepped on the scale this morning and was not happy so I think that number played around in my head every time I felt like getting off the machine. Let’s put it this way; I would really like to lose 7-10 pounds. This may take a while but it is my ultimate goal.
I started off on the elliptical because all of the treadmills were being used. I did intervals of 2 minutes at level 2 and 2 minutes at level 9. I was going to top at 45 minutes again but when I reached that time, there were still no treadmills so I stayed on. My legs were a little sore so I did not work out too hard for the hour.
I decided to get on the treadmill since I did not break too much of a sweat on the elliptical. I ended up doing 35 minutes even though I planned on doing 20. I walked at 4.0 for 20 of those minutes and ran for 15 minutes straight the rest of the time! I was drenched from running for that long. I do not know how people run marathons!! I stopped at 15 because this muscle in my foot has been hurting me lately. I also started to get a slight cramp in my side as usual. Do any of you get cramps while you run? How do you deal with it?

I got home around 7 starving! Luckily dinner was already made! I had leftover Shrimp Fried Rice from last night so I just nuked it in the microwave for 2 minutes.

I also made another salad for the side. Today I sprinkled some goat cheese on top! Yummmm! I also used Red Wine Vinegar and a dab of hummus for dressing.

Just as delicious as last night!!

For dessert I was considering the Chobani again but 3 times in one day is a little much. Instead I made baked pear with cinnamon, chocolate chips, and grapes.

I just sliced a pear up, sprinkled some cinnamon on top, and microwaved it for 2 minutes, It came out soft and warm! The chocolate chips melted on top from the heat.

I saw this in the fridge and decided to treat myself to a glass.

I have not drank in a few days and I had a good workout so why not. It also tastes really good with the dessert I made!!
I will limit myself to no more than 2 glasses tonight. I may just download another free movie online.
Have a good rest of the night!
