Hello! Today is the last day of my vacation. Not fun. Oh well! So my diet yesterday was an example of what NOT to eat to lose or maintain your weight. At the same time, I want to show you that indulging one day will not kill you! It is important to treat yourself every now and then to maintain your sanity and stay happy!
My diet started off well. I had the usual bowl of cereal for breakfast!
I relaxed all day and eventually did my Core Fusion Body Sculpt DVD. I am so sore today! It felt good since I hadn’t worked out in about a week!
My roomy came back from vacation so I told her she had to try a margarita from Five Burro Cafe! I got Mango and she got Watermelon. We both got sharks!
I did not really want Mexican again for dinner. We ended up just stopping for some pizza on the way home. I rarely treat myself to real New York pizza so this was delicious! I got a slice of mushroom and mozzarella.
Our drunk selves ordered a 3rd slice! It was so worth it at the time.
We went home with food comas and watched a movie. A little later we did more damage and brought out the ice cream. It was fro-yo at least!
Yes..very unhealthy night. I paid for it later! All of that food did not agree with my belly. Pizza is still my favorite food ever so I have to treat myself every now and then!
Speaking of pizza, remember my post about the The Pizza Diet? It was about a guy who ate 8 slices of pizza a day for 30 days and lost weight! A lot of us wondered what he was eating before the diet and how much he was working out. He actually wrote to me the other day to clarify!
Hi
This Matt McClellan from the Pizza Diet. I see many questions were posted about my previous diet and lack of exercise…to set the record straight I ate mostly fast food along with pizza and worked out about an 1 1/2 hours per day. I substituted my fast food (McDonald’s, Taco Bell, etc ) for a pizza only diet and decreased my workouts to only 1 hour 5 days per week. The results are real and I would invite you to visit tourdepizza.com for full story and photos.
Thanks again
Matt McClellan
Tour De Pizza
Thanks Matt! I guess it wouldn’t work for many of us who rarely eat fast food. It is good to know that pizza is probably the better choice since I would take hot melted cheese over gross beef any day!
Well I am off to try out Core Fusion Energy Flow with Dori! I am doing her 30-Day Core Fusion Challenge. This is day number 2 for me! I am hoping to go to class or do the DVD 3 to 4 times a week. I took before measurements so I will show you my results at the end of the month! Have a good Sunday!

It looks like a day of delicious eats! I could not live without my favorite food- chocolate, and eat it almost daily. I think it’s great that you showed people that one day of eats outside the normal routine does nothing in the long run!

The mozzarella on that pizza looks so fresh! I love your positive outlook on your eats. You’re totally right, it’s one day, it really doesn’t make a difference in the overall picture. You rock girl!

Great looking eats!! I think its so important to learn that one day of indulging will not bust any diet! In fact I think its a good thing. For me personally it helps keeps my sanity and stops binges since no food is ever off limits. So Fabulous girl!! Im still a bit skeptical about the pizza diet though. haha. I think you are right, it wouldnt work for most people. Im glad he found something that works for him though but I dont think I could eat pizza all day ever day. (Id miss my oats!) But its always good for a treat for sure! Anyways take care girl and have fun on your last day of vaca!

A day/night of splurging is necessary every once in a while! New Year’s even may have been one of those nights for me too….Nick’s friend who owned the bar we were at made us a huge thing of wings at 1 am in the morning. I mean, come on, WHY?!?! They were delicious.
Thanks for posting the letter from the Pizza diet man. That’s very interesting. He decreased his workouts, and then ate pizza instead of his other fastfood? Sounds strange, but whatever, I guess it worked!

that’s great that he emailed you! I agree with you, his diet might not be suitable for us because we don’t eat fast food because we don’t like them much! what about a diet with greek yogurt, granola and chocoolate? hahaha…. that would be easier!
