Welcome to my Blog

Hello Blogworld. I decided to start this blog after reading several blogs for months and realizing how much they have helped me. I hope I can do the same for others. I will start off by discussing my night. I got off work around 6:00. I sat at my desk all day today and could not wait to get to the gym. Around 7:00 I made it to my gym, New York Sports Club, which is about 5 minutes from my house in Queens. My workout:

20 minutes on the treadmill:
10 minutes walking (4.2)
5 minutes jogging (6.0)
10 minutes walking with incline of 3 (4.2)
At 7:30, I took a 45 min. Total Body Conditioning Class. This class uses a body bar and free weights to target all of the muscles in the body. I try to do this class twice a week, as I do not enjoy doing weights without an instructor.

I got home around 9:00 with quite an appetite.

I heated up frozen vegetables in the microwave. It was the fiesta blend which had broccoli, carrots, pinto beans, and navy beans.

I added brown rice that was leftover from my chinese food last night…

and lettuce, cues, Sabra roasted red pepper hummus, and:


I love all flavors of MorningStar Farms burgers. Mushrooms Lover is my favorite but I decided to give this flavor a try and enjoyed it as well. Each burger is 100 calories has 7 grams of protein, very satisfying.

As I was eating my veggies…I found this:

It looked like a half of a tooth pick. And this is not the first time! Last week I found a piece of wood in the same brand of veggies! It is Big A brand which is Associated Market’s store brand. Gross! I needed something sweet after that:

Baked apples and mini semisweet Nestle morsels nuked for 2 minutes. And a nice glass of Reisling to finish off my meal.

I did have the slight urge to have another snack after this, but I put a piece of gum in my mouth to try to stop myself. Oh by the way, I have a gum addiction. I chew 1 to 2 packs a day. It is a habit I would like to stop becayse the artificial sweeteners kill my tummy. Maybe this blog will help me quit the habit. See you tomorrow, hopefully without snacking any more tonight.
