Welcome Home Daisy!

Saturday I woke up and had a bowl of cereal before heading to the train to Philly. It was Kashi Honey Sunshine with Silk Heart Health milk, bananas, and raisins (X2).

I got to my parent’s house and was greeted by this little baby!!

Don’t think you saw her close enough…

 Daisy with her mommy!

She has her own tent!

My other cat Ziggy watching the baby!

Saturday night my parents and I went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. The food was just okay but it was free margarita Saturday so I had fun! I got shrimp fajitas. Yum Yum!

Zumbathon!

My mom invited me to a 2 hour Zumba class! It was held in a huge basketball court! There were at least 100 people there! There was 5 different amazing instructors that took turns showing us moves! It was so much fun! I thought I was going to suck since I’ve never taken a real Zumba class before. I used to do the Zumba video over and over maybe 5 years ago! The music was amazing and I was actually able to do most of the moves! The 2 hours went by very fast too. My knees are a little sore today since the floor was so hard and we did so much jumping but it was a great workout! My mom and I were both drenched after! I wish my gym had more Zumba classes!

We were starving after class so went to a restaurant called Ben & Irv’s. I got an omelet with mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, onions and whole wheat toast. My mom and I brought Daisy over to my grandma’s house after and then we took a nice trip to Whole Foods.

I managed to get some nice goodies courtesy of my mom: popchips, Smores Z-Bars, Blueberry Z-Bars, spelt rice cakes, and carob chips. I also introduced my mom to popchips since she’s never heard of them before!

I went back to the train and took Daisy with me! She was so good the entire 2 hours! She slept on my lap in this position and did not move!

Daisy and I got back to my apartment around 9 and she got comfy on the couch.

I was hungry for dinner so I decided to try one of my new Applegate Farms hot dogs!

I chose the organic, grass-fed hot dogs! I boiled one for about 10 minutes and used a Nature’s Pride slice of bread as my hot dog roll.

I made a salad with hummus for the side!

I also had a few of my new popchips plus a Bud Light Lime for the ultimate hot dog meal!

I really enjoyed the hot dog! It tasted the same as any normal hot dog but without all the chemicals and nitrates! Yay for grass-fed beef!

I made a nice little treat for dessert. I worked out for 2 hours so it was well deserved!

Perfect way to end the weekend! Daisy was so good all night! She slept on my arm and did not move! She has to be around people all the time and always wants to be held! So cute! Can’t wait to go home and play with her! Okay, I am done my kitten talk for the day! Off to lunch!
