I am back from a crazy weekend. I will try to remember as much as I can but parts of the Holiday Party are very blurry!! Oops!
Saturday
I went and got a blowout where I work. It turned out great! I went to catch the train to New Jersey when I was done. I was thinking about not eating until the Holiday Party since I knew I’d be eating a ton there. I decided it would be better to not arrive starving so I picked up a turkey and brie sandwich from Penn Station.

It was yummy but ended up being $7.50 for that little thing!! I also had half a bag of Popchips with it.
I arrived around 3:00 to Jersey to get ready for the party. My bf stopped at Burger King on the way and got a Chicken Snacker. I had a bite. WOW. It is fried chicken in a wrap with this amazing sauce. I told him to not let me eat any more of it!!
We arrived at the party around 6:00. It was open bar. I promised my bf I would drink rum instead of vodka because I tend to cry and blackout when I drink too much vodka. Well I kind of did not follow the rules. I got a Cranberry Vodka as soon as I arrived.
They walked around with appetizers. They also had this lovely cheese, cracker and fruit plate out.

Sorry it is so dark! My camera ended up dying so I had to take the rest of the pictures with my Blackberry. I had 2 blocks of cheese and crackers from that tray.
They also walked around with trays of shrimp, quesadillas, and potato skins. I had one of each.
Then I remembered that last time I ate at the restaurant, they had Lychee Cranberry Martinis! My favorite!!

I had anywhere from 4 to 7 of them. Plus shots. The rest of the night became very fuzzy.
At dinner, I started off with Sweet Potato Soup.
I also had a spinach salad with almonds, sun dried tomatoes, and I forget what else! It looks like there is bacon on there!

At first everyone at the table was making fun of me for taking pictures of my food. I tried to explain to them what the blog was so they started having some fun with it. They kept holding up their food for me! One person at the table got the spinach dip.

I tried some and it was amazing of course!
I do not remember this at all but I guess someone got onion rings? Or maybe it is calamari? Not so sure but it looks good!

For my main course I got chicken. Everyone said it melted in your mouth so I am guessing I enjoyed it
I think there were mashed potatoes on the side. I stopped taking pictures at this point I guess because I was a little too drunk. Sorry!
And dessert…I got the Chocolate Blackout Cake and my boyfriend got the Fudge Cheesecake. Apparently we put both of them together. He said I “killed” the dessert. I wish I could remember it!!
By the end of the night, well actually it was only around 9:30, I was stumbling. Those Lychee Martinis are so dangerous! And yes, I cried. My boyfriend said that at one point, he pointed to a picture that looked cool. I then started crying and saying I wanted a picture with the rock! He kept telling me there was no rock! But I kept on crying hysterically saying I wanted a picture with it! I think I thought the picture was a rock??? Oh man.
I also forced him to kiss me in front of the owner of the company! Oops!! I am a mess haha.
We went back to his boss’ house and they made me yet another drink! It was Banana Vodka with Mango Fuze. They said I only drank half and then passed out!
Sunday
I woke up at 3 am with the worst headache of my life. I asked my bf for Advil and he brings me back something and said it is similar to Advil. I took 2 of them. When we woke up we realized he gave me sinus night time medication! At least I slept well! At 10 am we woke up and I felt so sick. We ended up staying in bed till 3:30 in the afternoon!
Finally we got up and I saw this lovely tray of sugar cookies so I had one.

Yum! Then his boss tells me they ordered Domino’s Pizza! What a great breakfast to wake up to!

I had 2 more slices after that! How can you resist cheesy greasy pizza when you are hungover?? I sure can’t!
By the way, they have the cutest dog ever! I am more of a cat person but the doggy rolls on its back and sits like a squirrel!
I left to go back to New York at 7:00, still kind of hungover! I got on the train at 9:00 feeling a little hungry again so I had a Z-bar.

I finally got home at 11:45, pretty starving by this point. Since it was so late, I decided on a Goat Cheese Omelet!

I toasted a whole wheat wrap to eat with it. It was so good and crunchy!
I of course needed something sweet so I had a little bit of cottage cheese with pumpkin butter and chocolate chips.

Fun weekend!! I am still so tired from it all but at least the hangover is gone! I will post more pictures from the party when the boss sends them to me!
Monday
I got to work and made oatmeal with cinnamon, bananas, skim milk, and a scoop of Whole Foods Crunch Peanut Butter.

There is barely anyone in the office today so I helped myself to that peanut butter in the fridge! At least it is only a two day week for me!! I am off to catch up on the rest of the blogs! Have a nice Monday!

Hey Missy… It was nice to meet you (and your bf) on Saturday… if you remember
My wife and I sat with you guys (to your right). Anyway, it was Calamari and it was gooooood! The steak left a lot to be desired though (it was supposed to be rib-eye but wasn’t). Somehow after 10 Stoli Orange and Tonics I still remember Saturday night. I think we made the right choice in going directly home and not going to Brian and Melany’s.
Take Care!

PS: There was no rock in that picture!!!

There is a really good place next to my office that always has Sweet Potato Soup and I always want to try but I never do because I don’t know what else they put in it — but now I think I will try it soon!
