However...parents do have a tendency to judge the people that their children chose to be with, whether their concerns are founded or not. <br/><br/>My parents came around many years ago, and now they are happy as long as I am happy. Just be patient with them, and don't argue with them about it. They're already treating you as a child who can't make her own decisions, and by arguing with them over it, you're filling the role they want you to. It's not worth stressing yourself out over. If you are truly happy, they'll see that in you and get on board.
