Sorry for my late post today. I actually had real work to do which is pretty rare. When I do get work, I am such a perfectionist and like to do it right away since it does not happen too often. They always tend to assign it to me Friday afternoons too, kind of annoying. Oh well, I am all done now!

On a happier note, I chewed NO gum yesterday!!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyy! It was really hard and I was dying by 4:00 but I would not let myself go into my desk drawer. I am trying for day 2 today! I feel so much better without it even though I have killer cravings! I did have a few more snacks in the afternoon to keep my mouth busy though!

First I had an Organic Crispy Rice Bar. These are really yummy and only 110 calories.

I also had a pear right before I left work. The hunger would not die down yesterday! I got in a great workout at least!

I met my boyfriend at the gym after work and tried to sneak him in. The guy caught us and said we can’t just walk by like that. My boyfriend said he wanted to try out the gym for the day and the guy said in a really rude tone, “$15.00!” I told the guy that my roommate tried it out last week for free but he did not care. My boyfriend paid but was pretty pissed just because the guy was so mean about it. I also think its pretty ridiculous to charge that much for someone who is interested in joining! Oh well!

We started out by doing 5 minutes on the treadmill to warm up. We took a spin class after, my boyfriend’s first time. I told him it was going to get intense but I don’t think he realized what I was talking about. As soon as we started doing jumps, he was dying! He has had knee surgery in the past so it is understandable but it was funny to watch.

He did get better half way through and started doing the jumps. He realized towards the end of the class that he had no idea what the instructor was talking about when he said his intensity should be at a 9. The instructor went over to my boyfriend’s bike and turned his dial all the way to the right and then bf figured it out! He liked the class overall and said it felt really good since he hasn’t worked out like that in a while.

We did 5 more minutes on the Stepper to cool down and then went home. We could not figure out what to make for dinner so we decided on the delicious Diner by my house!

We split a chocolate milk to start!

I ordered an egg white omelet with mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, and feta cheese! It is supposed to come with home fries but I got sweet potato fries for $1.00 more!!

The fries were SO good!! I planned on eating half but yeah…I ate them all! I am probably better off getting home fries since I don’t really like them as much and barely touch them!

I also ate some toast with butter and jelly on the side.

My boyfriend got scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and pancakes.

I ate a piece of his bacon and some of his pancake too! I was soo full by the end but it was all amazing!

We stopped at the store and came home and I had 2 packages waiting for me!!

The first was a SuperSampler Pack from the wonderful folks at Vitalicious!!!!

The box included:

I first tried Vitatops about a year ago when Lisa from Hungry Girl went on tour to New York. I managed to get about 10 samples of the Double Chocolate Dream and Fudgy Peanut Butter Chip flavors. I was in love after my first bite so I cannot wait to try all of the flavors!! Thank you Vitalicious!!

The second package was 2 samples of Vanilla Pudding to test out for one of my survey companies!

I thought it was hilarious that I got them in the mail because my boyfriend and I just bought these from the store 5 minutes before!!

You can never have too much pudding in the house!!!

We made some nice rum and crystal light drinks after I was done jumping around the kitchen with joy about my Vitatops!!

About an hour later, we dug into the chocolate pudding! We added one of my V-day brownies and whipped cream!

We finished the whole bowl again even though I was still stuffed from dinner!! It was just too delicious to stop!

He left around 3 am to go back to Philly and I could not fall back asleep. I decided to try out the Quaker True Delight Coconut Banana Macadamia Bar!

I was a little scared to try this because I am not a fan of coconut but I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted more like banana and had really yummy chunks of nuts to bite into throughout. Out of all 3 flavors, my favorite would have to be the Honey Roasted Cashew Mixed Berry. I probably would not buy these myself because they taste a little artificial to me but they were still fun to try out!

I fell right back asleep after the bar. I set my alarm for 6 to go to the gym before work since I had a million snacks that day but at 7:30…I popped out of bed! Oops!

I got to work and decided on Kashi Oats today.

Of course I had to try out one of my new Vitatops too! I grabbed Appleberry flavor to mix in my oats.

The Vitatop was delicious!! It made a great addition to my oatmeal and had huge chunks of apple throughout. I think next time I will heat one up and add some spray butter to it. Yum!!

I decided to go to the gym at lunch since I could not wake up this morning. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill. I walked for 5, jogged for 10, walked for 5, jogged for 5, and walked for the last 5 minutes.

I came back to the office and brought out some lunch. I made the same lunch as yesterday!

Mustard, Hummus, Laughing Cow Cheese, Morningstar Farms Mushroom Lovers Burger, and Lettuce on a Whole Wheat Wrap!

I also found some new chips to try at the store yesterday!!

HUMMUS CHIPS!!!! From the website:

Humbles™ (surprise!) are made from hummus – which is made from the humble chick pea, one of mankind’s favorite snacks for a millennium now – so they’re as naturally tasty as they are healthful. Baked to a crispy-crunchy golden brown, with only 4 or 4.5 grams of fat per serving(and no trans fat).

I got the Roasted Red Pepper flavor to try.

Verdict: Delicious! They are thin and crunchy and have a hint of red pepper flavor to them. I plan to go back to the store and try the other two flavors- Olive Oil, Lemon, & Feta…and Sesame Garlic! Yummy!

Not sure what tonight’s plans are yet. The boy will probably come sometime later so we will see what happens!! Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

So jealous of your Vitalicious samples. I love everyone I’ve had, but had to stop buying them due to the price. So expensive. Please enjoy some for me!
