Hello! Still trying to get used to WordPress. It took me an hour to upload andinsert pictures today. I also don’t like that the space to type the post is so small. I know I can make it into full screen mode but then it does not let me type around the huge pictures. On Blogger, you can type around the pictures when it is not in HTML mode. On WordPress, I have to switch back and forth between Visual and Html to see what I’m doing. I’m probably missing something but right now this is frustrating! I don’t like computers!
Okay, I’ll stop complaining. I promised you the rest of my weekend recap!
Saturday I started out with this:

I used tons of oranges to make 2 full glasses of juice.

I also had a bowl of Cheerios with bananas and raisins.

I was in a hurry because I had to take Daisy May to her 2nd vet appointment!

Now I am poor. The price for each visit is seriously insane. She has to go again this Saturday too. I don’t know what to do. It’s basically my entire week’s paycheck! Ahh.
Saturday night I had my friend’s birthday dinner. It was at Olive Garden. There were 15 of us. We got to wait an hour and a half to eat since there was a party of 45 right before us! That gave me plenty of time to get a little buzzed!

I got a Strawberry Limoncello Martini- Smirnoff Citrus Vodka, Caravella Limoncello and strawberries.
It was the best drink ever. I got 2 of them.
Eventually we finally sat down and got a bunch of wine for the table.

I had a breadstick to start. YUM.

Best part about Olive Garden-unlimited salad.

I probably finished off an entire bowl myself. The dressing there is my favorite.

For my main course, I got the Venetian Apricot Chicken-Grilled chicken breasts in an apricot citrus sauce. Served with broccoli, asparagus and diced tomatoes.

Delicious! I loved the apricot citrus sauce on the chicken.
Ready for some food porn??

We pretty much got every dessert on the menu to pass around the table.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake
Raspberry-swirled white chocolate cheesecake topped with slivers of white chocolate.

Black Tie Mousse Cake
Rich layers of chocolate cake, dark chocolate cheesecake and creamy custard mousse.

Tiramisu
The classic Italian dessert. A layer of creamy custard set atop espresso-soaked ladyfingers.

Zeppoli
Soft, traditional Italian doughnuts dusted with powdered sugar, served with chocolate sauce for dipping.
I had a bite of every dessert but the Zeppoli was definitely my favorite. It was like dipping a funnel cake in warm chocolate fudge!!
Delicious dinner!
I slept over my friend’s house that night since I was pretty intoxicated! On Sunday she woke up and made everyone pancakes!

It is nice having traditional buttermilk pancakes every now and then!
She also made pumpkin pie. She actually carved a real pumpkin to make it. She said it took her hours but it was worth it!

We watched football all day and stopped at WaWa for some lunch.

My favorite turkey hoagie comes from WaWa. I got it with cheese, mustard, sweet peppers, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
I got back to my apartment around 8:00 at night and made a nice salad for dinner.

I added corn, rice, mushrooms, squash, peppers, avocado, and Pepper Dog salsa. A big salad was definitely necessary after all the junk I ate all weekend! I am getting back to the gym this week!
I am off to go play with the blog some more! Stay tuned for a giveaway tomorrow!!

Maybe you have to resize your pics? Whenever i upload pics, even on Blogger i have to resize them otherwise they are too big.
also, you should take the kitty to the Humane Society. Its in the city but its SOO MUCH CHEAPER! I took Mickey there for the first time 6 months ago. She needed antibiotics, a years worth of flea meds, ear wash, and 1 years worth heartworm medicine. I paid $120 total! thats a bargain. They ask for $40 to make an appt but whatever your bill is at the end of the visit, the $40 is deducted. Serious bargain. Please dont spend your entire paycheck on a visit to the vet. They are fantastic with Animals and would have REALLY love them to care for them the way they do to make ZERO money. Email me if you want the number.

I can’t download things at work. I am going to download Live Writer at home but I always post at work so that won’t help very much.

Your posts aren’t showing up in Reader- I needed to add ” /feed ” at the end of the URL (others had this problem too if they made the switch with their own domain). Just a heads up to let your readers know

Missy, you should try to eat windows Live writer or Ecto if you have a mac to write post, especially they’re extremely convenient for photos uploads which takes ages in wordpress.
I love the big dessert feast in this post!
