Tuna Fishy!

I am feeling a little better about last night thanks to all your comments. I also went to the gym at lunch so at least I know I got one workout in the for the day. I did the following workout from The Fitnessista

Elliptical Workout # 1

Time Crossramp Resistance
0:00-5:00 5 5
5:00-7:00 Slow your pace (not too much) 7 10
7:00-8:00 SPRINT (as fast as you can go with the heavy resistance)7 10
8:00-9:00 5 5
9:00-10:00 SPRINT (as fast as you can) 5 7
10:00-12:00 (slow your pace) 8 11
00-15:00 (increase speed) 5 7
*repeat minutes 5-15 1 more time
25:00-27:00 (slower speed) 7 10
27:00-30:00 (faster speed, bringing heart rate back down 5)

Stats:

Calories Burned: 260
Maximum Heart Rate: 200
Average Heart Rate: 160

Very good for a quick workout at lunch! I don’t know if there is something up with my HRM because my heart rate seems really high lately! Who knows! I got my boyfriend to agree to come to Spin with me tonight too!! I am really excited because he has never tried it before and has no clue what he is in for. Should be interesting!

I came back to a nice lunch…same one as yesterday!

Tuna, hummus, cucumbers, lettuce, mustard, and laughing cow and whole wheat bread.

With a nice big bag of soy crisps on the side!

I am trying soooooooo hard not to chew any gum at work today. I seriously get such stomach issues from chewing 1 to 2 packs a day. So far so good but I am dying for a piece right now!!! AAHH! I don’t know what to do here!! I will go make myself a cup of tea or something!

I will leave you with some more contests to enter!!

Caitlin at Healthy Tipping PointRoad ID Giveaway!!

Diana at Strawberry Short Stuff Simply Bars Giveaway!

Good Luck!

I just quit gum about 3-4 days ago. I just stopped. It’s really hard though :( I want a piece right now. Maybe drink some hot water with lemon or an orange slice? That helps me sometimes. I totally agree about how icky your stomach feels when you chew a lot of gum. It started to feel bad after just 1 piece, which is why I decided to finally just STOP. But it’s still so hard!!!! (that’s what she said). Happy wednesday!

I haven’t done that elliptical workout in awhile, I need to do it soon! Maybe Friday before our dinner. I’m not like you, I’ll look ug, but who really cares :)

I’m excited for you and your friend to take spin – he has NO idea what he is in for!

I was shocked when my mom told me that chewign gum causes *gasp* gas. Its the constant opening and closing of your mouth and sucking in air.
I used to chew a lot of gum and I had stomaach aches. When I cut back, i noticed a difference.

Maggie: I wish I could just quit!! I have tried but I seriously go nuts without it!! My tummy starts bothering me after just 1 piece too!

Mo Diva: Yes it’s the air and the Sorbitol that really does it. I am up to 2.5 pieces aah! I was dying haha. Usually I am over a pack by this time of day though so I am not doing that bad!!

omg…I had FOUR packs of gum yesterday during the day at work! That is a serious problem. Mine is related to anxiety, though (I think). I will seriously chew a piece and 10 seconds later put another one in. I’m a chain chewer! Good luck with the no gum. Let me know if you come up with any good tips. :-)

Holly: I do the exact same thing. Once I start with one piece, I add in a second piece 10 minutes later!! I seriously can chew a pack in an hour. It is bad! I failed yesterday haha. Once I started, it turned into 5 pieces in 30 minutes. Oh well!
