Not only does this have a ton of nutritional benefits, it actually tastes good! The first time I tried this, I mixed the berry with a glass of water. I was expecting this to taste grassy like other green powders but it had a pleasant berry flavor. This morning, I decided to try it in a smoothie.

My smoothie contained 1 scoop of the powder, frozen berries, almond milk, and maca powder.  Today is probably not the best today to make a cold smoothie but it did give me plenty of energy for a morning workout! I plan to keep using this every morning!

Tropical Traditions is providing me with one canister of Antixidant Omega 3 Greens powder for a lucky Missy Maintains reader!

I’ll be having surgery tomorrow and would use it to detox from all the medication I have had to take up until this point. More than likely I’ll make a smoothie or drink using coconut milk since I am allergic to both cow milk and almonds. Another way I would like to use it is in a homemade protein bar. I saw a recipe in an Oprah mag for bars using coconut butter (you can make your own from coconut powder), dried cherries, and I think sesame seeds, but I’d probably use toasted hemp seeds for the added Omega-3’s.

    Hi There Missymaintains,
I just stumbled across this and, The acai is an antioxidant rich berry that comes from the tropical South American rain forest, but is easily available in many supermarkets and health food stores. In Brazil it has been used for ages, mixed with other fruits and primarily as an energizing drink.
I’ll be back to read more next time
