Tired Missy

Okay I am either going crazy or I am extremely tired. I was trying to plug my USB cord into my camera just now to upload my pictures. It would not go in the slot and I realized 2 minutes later that I was holding my phone, not my camera. No wonder it did not fit!

Oh man, I need to get to bed soon! It has been a long day.

Luckily the train is a lot less crowded at 6:40 rather then 6:00 so I made it to the gym by 7:20. The class was pretty good today but I had random pains in my legs and butt. I burned 180 calories and had an average heart rate of 155. I am glad I did cardio at lunch because I was too tired to do anything else afterwards!

I came home, peeked in the fridge, and saw 4 containers of something that looked very yummy!

It was my roommate’s rice that her mom made for her. Without even thinking about it, I scooped some out to taste it while it was still cold! It was yummy! It was some sort of sticky wild rice, black beans, grilled onions, seaweed, with little pieces of beef throughout. My roommate was not home so I decided to take a little to heat up with dinner. SHH!!

I added some frozen veggies to the side of the rice.

I decided to give the Boca Meatless Sausages a second chance. This time around, I made it on the skillet instead of the microwave.

I heated it for 10 minutes with half a cup of water. I then drained the water and heated it for 2 more minutes with a little bit of olive oil.

I also added some salad, cucumbers and hummus for the side.

The verdict: Much better on the stove then on the microwave! It tasted a lot more like a real sausage. The consistency was much tastier. Waiting the extra 10 minutes was well worth it, especially since I was making lunch for tomorrow at the same time.

Dessert was grapes, chocolate chips, and pumpkin butter.

And I may have went back in 1 or 2 times for more grapes and chocolate chips! What can I say?!

Yes, I am still too lazy to start setting up my camera now. I promise I will do it by the weekend! I am off to try to catch up on my sleep!

Sorry about your crappy day – office life kinda sucks :( I don’t want to get another job like my last one (which I left on Thursday). It’s kinda funny that you took your roommate’s food, lol :P Hope you’re feeling better! At least the subway wasn’t crowded – I hate being scrunched next to icky people.

Hope you get some sleep tonight. I won’t lie – the camera/phone mishap made me laugh.

Sorry about all the work drama. So silly to make you send out another email. I hope you have a better day tomorrow. At least you got in a good workout and yummy dinner. :)

Maggie: I saw that you left your job and must say I was pretty jealous! I could seriously use a break from this place!

Elise: I will add you to our team for the run! Can’t wait! Any team name suggestions?

Dori: Yeah the roommates always leave the food to rot anyway so why not eat it!

Heather: Thank you, hopefully today is better :)
