I am going to have to make this a quickie because “Expense Report Guy” is about to drop a bunch of receipts on my desk! Not fun!
Breakfast was Archer Farms Blueberry Almond Oatmeal. If you are ever at Target, I highly recommend buying a box. This stuff is so good!
I added a packet of Barney Butter and some skim milk. Perfect!
I skipped the gym at lunch pretty much because I brought my leftover Japanese food. When I go to the gym, I eat lunch after 1:00 back at my desk. A sandwich is easy to eat inconspicuously at the desk but I don’t think rice and shrimp would have worked out too well! I decided to eat during my lunch hour like a normal person. I also got some errands (shopping in Loehmann’s) done so it worked out
I used to sit in Balducci’s to eat since they have a nice seating area but it is all gone
I went into Westside Market instead to eat.
I saved just enough food last night for lunch today
I got back to my desk at 1 and needed to get the Japanese good taste out of my mouth so I had an apple.
I don’t bring gum to work anymore so I pretty much turn to food when I have a bad taste in my mouth or need something to munch on! I guess it is better than a messed up tummy from stupid sorbitol! By the way, I still go home and chew 5 pieces in a row since I crave it all day but it is much better than 2 packs!!
I also snacked on some Navitas Naturals Goji and Cocoa Power.
I actually bring a baggie of this every day because it is a great afternoon snack to munch on. It satisfies my fruit and chocolate cravings at the same time.
Yoga News
About a month ago, I mentioned that I won a 1 month pass to YogaWorks from Vital Juice. They never sent me the pass so I contacted them today to find when I could start my month. I am officially starting next Monday so I am very excited. I will try to go a few times a week. I also hope to try every type of yoga to see if I like anything other than Vinyasa. They also offer pilates at the Westside location so I will try that out too! I would love to wake up early and do yoga before work but I don’t know if that will happen! We’ll see!
Tonight I plan to go to kickboxing class! Always a nice, fun workout! I washed my heart rate monitor in the washing machine yesterday so I can’t wait to see if it works better. I am still considering trading it in for a model that tracks distance but I will see how it functions tonight!

Have you tried brushing your teeth after lunch? It’s kind of awkward to brush in a restroom at work, but it works better for me than eating a piece of fruit. It’s also a good excuse to get up and walk around for 5 minutes. Congrats on kicking the gum habit by the way. It’s so hard. I actually haven’t had a piece since… February? I can’t let myself have even one piece otherwise I end up going through a pack.

That oatmeal flava sounds so good! I love getting up and heading to the gym early before school to do a class. I don’t think I would work out nearly as hard as I do without an instructor that early in the AM!

Can’t wait to hear about your yoga experiences, I hope you like the classes. have you ever considered bringing a toothbrush and toothpaste to work and brushing after you eat lunch. I used to be addicted to chewing gum and wanted to stop so I decided to bring a toothbrush/toothpaste and haven’t ‘craved’ a piece of gum in weeks.
