Sunday Brunch

I did well last night! After dinner, I only ate about 5 crackers till I went to bed. I did have a few drinks though when my friend got here!

I made some Crystal Light with Rum.

I had 2 of these. They were pretty strong!

My friend wanted chocolate when we woke up in the middle of the night and all I could find was this!

We both felt so bad biting into something so cute! I searched my room a little more and found one last box of Cocoavias! I had a half of one.

When we woke up for real around 12 in the afternoon, the first thing my friend said was, “Diner for breakfast?” I said okay!!

I got the Mediterranean Egg White Omelet: Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Peppers, and Feta Cheese.

So good and flavorful! I only ate half of the hash browns because I only enjoy the burnt ones!

I got whole wheat toast on the side.

I ate both slices with a little butter and strawberry jelly.

My friend got eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast.

And BUTTERMILK PANCAKES!!!

We put so much butter and syrup on them. They were AMAZING. I ate half because they were so yummy.

I was realllly full by this point but I could not argue when my friend ordered CHOCOLATE PUDDING WITH WHIPPED CREAM!

It was a huge bowl! Soooo good since I am used to the sugar free kind and fat free whipped cream!!

MMM! We both finished the entire bowl off!
Today will just be my cheat day. It is also my rest day from the gym. I definitely need it since my legs have been sore. What a lovely Sunday!

hey missy! i just started getting into your blog and i really admire your ability to listen to your body, fuel it well, but indulge sometimes too (ahem- choc pudding with whipped cream- YUMO!!) :) Anyways, I’m a college student and just looking into making some “healthy” drinks..i see you got some crystal light and rum last night. how did u make it? any other suggestions for good drinks without running up the caloric count (and without running down the fun?! lol) thanks!

Jessica: Thanks for reading! There are a few drinks I usually try to stick to that are low calorie. For crystal light, I just pour a shot or two of rum into a cup, pour in the packet of crystal light, and fill the rest of the cup with water.

Another great drink is Fuze with rum or vodka. You can barely taste the alcohol so watch out!

When I go out I tend to order a vodka soda with a splash of cranberry. This has a lot less calories then a regular vodka cranberry. Hope that helps!
