Sonoma Crisps=Best Snack!

Good Morning! I love that it is Thursday today. It really feels like Wednesday! Almost the weekend again :) I will recap back to Wednesday now!

Breakfast was a lovely bowl of oats.

Archer Farms Blueberry Almond Oats with a banana and Barney Butter! Sorry that I have been eating it almost every day! I bought 6 boxes months ago at Target so I am trying to use it up before it expires!

I had a nice cup of Awake Tea too because I was still soo tired from Maryland.

I forced myself to go to the gym at lunch since I hadn’t been since Thursday and knew I could not go after work! I did 35 minutes on the elliptical. I am having one of those weeks where I am totally not in exercise mode. I feel tired and lazy. Oh well, it happens!

I used some Rudy’s Bakery Whole Wheat Bagels for lunch!

I topped it with P.B.Loco Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter and Bauman’s Blueberry Butter!

I also had Quaker chips in the side. I can’t say the exact name of the chips because I am testing them for a survey company! They are very good though!

I snacked on Sonoma Crisps Apple Sticks later in the afternoon!

By now, I have tried all of the Sonoma Crisps I received so it is time to let you know what I think!

Yesterday I tried the Apple Crisps.

From the website:

Made with only the finest – and freshest – Apple Sticks Original is a new wholesome snack!

With each bag containing the equivalent of 1½ apples, you can enjoy a deliciously light snack at just 70 calories, with no fat and a full 8% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber.During the apple season from Summer to Fall, we use the freshly-harvested apples of our native California. The rest of the year, we select apples from the state of Washington, America’s largest grower.

To preserve and capture the apple’s natural mild flavor and subtle hint of tartness, we bake Apple Sticks Original slowly and carefully, giving them a crispy texture (without using a single drop of oil).

They were delicious!! They were in the shape of french fries but of course 10000 times healthier! Perfect snack for someone who likes to munch all day like me!

Last week, I tried the Cinnamon Apple Sticks!

Apple Sticks Cinnamon are created using the same oil-free, slow-bake process as the Apple Sticks Original, with a pinch of cinnamon thrown in.

Just like when making apple pie or cider, adding a touch of cinnamon gives the apples a rich, aromatic flavor while removing the bitterness of the cinnamon itself.

Each bag of Apple Sticks Cinnamon contains the equivalent of 1½ apples, making it a fun, flavorful and healthy snack with just 80 calories, no fat and a full 12% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber.

All of those crisps for 70 calories!

They were so good! I am a huge fan of cinnamon apples so of course I loved them!!

Next I tried the Raisin Crunch!

We developed the crunchy raisins snack after listening to customers who didn’t care for the squishy texture or unique taste of traditional raisins.

The sole ingredient is high-quality raisins grown in the warm sunshine of Fresno, California. Using a unique, oil-free process, we essentially “inflate” the raisins, turning them into a light and crispy snack that literally pops in your mouth.

Traditionally, most raisins have been used for baking and cooking, but Pop’n Raisin can be enjoyed in a wide variety of ways…as a snack…as a salad topper…in virtually any culinary scene you can imagine. It’s a whole new concept for enjoying those world-renowned California Raisins.

Even if you’re not a big raisin fan, don’t hesitate to try Pop’n Rasin. With one crunchy pop, it will change everything you’ve ever known or thought about the traditional raisin.

These were so delicious and fun to eat! I felt like I was eating Cocoa Puffs! They would be wonderful in yogurt and oatmeal too!

I also tried he Golden Delicious Apple Crisps a few days ago but I forgot to snap a pic!

Golden Delicious is a new fruit snack from Sonoma Crisps, featuring a lighter taste and somewhat milder flavor than our snacks made from the bolder-flavored Apple Sticks Original.

Like our other apple snacks, each bag of Golden Delicious contains the equivalent of 1½ apples, with just 70 calories, no fat and a full 8% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber.

Golden Delicious is made exclusively with select Golden Delicious apples from the state of Washington.

About Golden Delicious Apples

Golden Delicious apples, identifiable by their yellow skin, have a sweet flavor, with a relatively small amount of sourness. Said to have their origins in the 1910s in West Virginia, they’re often used for applesauce and apple butter.

I really am in love with Sonoma Crisps! I will definitely be buying these next time I see them in a store!! They can be found at your local grocery store, Amazon, or online here.

Dinner

After work, I went to my sister’s apartment in the city. I decided to walk since I could not get in a good workout. It was a 40 minute walk so I am happy I did that at least!

I went there to try on my bridesmaid dress (her wedding is in August). She also made me a really good dinner. I could not get pictures since my family does not know about this but I will explain what we had!

We started with a salad with carrots, cues, tomatoes, and mushrooms with hummus and balsamic on top. For our main course, we had lemon pepper tilapia, a sweet potato, and steamed mushrooms and spinach on the side! It was delicious!

She also made me a dessert that I make every now and then but hers was way better. It was baked cinnamon apples with Greek yogurt and chocolate chips on top. I will definitely start making that more for dessert!

I got home around 11 and got a little hungry again so I had a banana. I woke up so tired today! I need to go to bed earlier! Probably won’t happen since I have to start packing my stuff!

We are actually looking into hiring a mover now because my dad is injured. It would be much easier so hopefully I can find one that is not too pricey! Anyone have any recommendations for NY?

I am off to head to lunch! Have a good one!

Good luck with your move! How exciting! I always see ads for ridiculously cheap movers, but I dunno if they would really do a good job… I might have to bite the bullet and hire some for my move in the fall – I don’t know if I can handle another move like my last one!
