Hello!
Yesterday was such a fun day with my boss! In case you missed my last past, we got to go on a team building retreat together. We got to skip work and pick whatever activities we wanted!
I woke up at 7:00 and went to the gym since I had a feeling I would not want to go after our retreat! I did 50 minutes on the elliptical. I got back and made myself some breakfast. I made an egg white omelet with mushrooms and American cheese. I also had a slice of Dave’s Killer Bread with Crofter’s Superfruit spread. I made the omelet small since I knew I would be eating a big lunch at noon!
At 10:30, I met my boss in the city at a nail salon. We both got manicures and pedicures!
It was so much better getting a pedicure during work hours! I was just imagining everyone else sitting at their desks while I was getting pampered. So nice!
We then walked over to a nice seafood restaurant called Pearl Oyster Bar in the West Village. It was very cute inside! We sat at the bar.
We both got beers to start..also awesome during work hours! I got shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. The shrimps were huge and there were 6 of them!! My boss got raw oysters but I did not try any because they scare me. My boss brought out her camera and said we should have taken pictures of our delicious food! I got so excited! I think she read my mind!!
For my main course, I got the Prince Edward Mussels with wine, mustard and cream.
They were some of the best mussels I’ve ever had. I’m sure the cream sauce helped give them their delicious flavor. There were so many too! I could barely finish them!
My boss got the Pearl Lobster Roll with Shoestring Fries. The restaurant is supposed to be famous for it’s lobster roll.
She shared half of her fries with me. They were the best fries ever. So thin and crispy! She also gave me a bite of her lobster roll. It was full of mayo but very good. There was huge chunks of lobster in there. The restaurant was pretty pricey but had amazing seafood!
After lunch we headed downtown to the World Trade Center and found our sail boat! We took the ShearWater sail boat cruise!

We were very surprised when we got on the boat and they said it was open bar! On the website it says that just the first drink is free! I had 2 Stellas.
That is Johnny Depp’s yacht! Our captain saw him that morning! I wanted to sit outside and wait for him to come out but I resisted haha.
It was perfect outside 
I had a very big issue happen while sliding myself across the boat! My pants got caught on some metal thing!! I can’t believe I am showing you this but it was bad!!
I was wearing cute blue undies…not sure why they look like that! Yes, so embarrassing. Luckily I had a zipper down with me to wrap around my butt!!!
The boat ride was 2 hours long. It was so relaxing!
My boss left me with a dark chocolate bar from Trader Joe’s! Perfect!!
I got home around 6 and took a walk with my roommate to run some errands. Around 9 I finally got hungry for dinner so I made an Amy’s burrito.
I melted American cheese on top and had salad, salsa, hummus, and sweet potato chips on the side.
I also made some broccoli (with lots of hummus).
Dessert was a Yoplait Delights cup with grapes.

depending on what all you need, logmein.com is FREE. we use it to work from home, so as long as you set up your computer and leave it on, you should be able to access it.

Missy, It looks like you has a blast.. I am so jelous that #1 you and your boss are so close #2 you get to go on fun retreats.. I would have stalked Johnny Depp as well!! Yesterday when I was sitting in my gross office I was thinking about how you were retreating away!!

When Johnny Depp was doing Pirates, the "black pearl" actually docked in my home town, and the backround perfomers were all rehersing on the ship!! It was SO neat!! haha. And I actually had my makeup done my Johnny's personal makeup artist!!! Ve Neill!!

My mom alwasy told me to make sure to wear clean, pretty underwear because you never know what will happen.

Elise: Nope, she doesn't know. I say some negative things about work every now and then so I figured I should keep it private from work! That's why I was all excited when she suggested we take pix of our food!

um….hello, perfect day!! Your boss seems super cool….and it looks like it was a gorgeous day outside, too. I'd feel awk w/just my boss all day….well, maybe not if there was alcohol involved.
