As I mentioned in my last post, I received some delicious cookies to try from a company called Glow Gluten Free. The cookies are:
- Gluten free
- Casein free
- Trans fat free
- Preservative free
- All natural
I do not have gluten intolerance but am always on the lookout for cookies that contain all natural ingredients! Jill, the founder of Glow, came up with these cookies because her daughter has celiac disease. Her daughter tried one and was “glowing from head to toe!”
Glow cookies come in four flavors:
- Chocolate chip
- Double Chocolate
- Snickerdoodle
- Gingersnap
The first thing I have to point out is the packaging! So cute! They are in little Chinese takeout containers!
Being the chocoholic that I am, I dug right into the Chocolate Chip.
Check out the nutrition facts! They are just 110 calories for one cookie and have a nice ingredient list.
I took a bite and it reminded me of the Chips Ahoy chocolate chips cookies I used to eat every day as a kid! They were crunchy and delicious! They had nice huge chunks of chocolate chips. I decided to dip some in milk for a wonderful evening snack.
Next I tried the Double Chocolate!
Check this baby out.
This one was even better than the chocolate chip! It was rich with soft chocolate chips and also just 110 calories! Perfect for my sweet tooth!
I tried the Gingersnap next. I was excited about this flavor because I am a huge fan of gingersnap cookies.
This cookie had a wonderful ginger flavor that was not too strong. The cookie was topped with sprinkles of sugar that gave it the perfect amount of sweetness. YUM!
Last but not least, Snickerdoodle! I just love the name!
This one was my favorite! It tasted like a sugar cookie with a whole lot of cinnamon! It made a wonderful topping to my ice cream!!
It is hard to believe these cookies are gluten free. They were all delicious! Glow Gluten Free cookies can be found at Whole Foods and other health food stores. Here is a link to a store locator!
Ready, Set, GLOW!
