Raw Revolution Review and Blog Fairy Thank You!

First I want to thank everyone for all the compliments on my new layout. I have to give all the credit to Emily at the The Blog Fairy. She was wonderful to work with and figured everything out for me in just one day! Check out her March Madness Sale if you need a nice blog makeover!

This morning was insane! I had my alarm set for 7:10 because I am supposed to leave my house at 8:00 for work. I also made a point to get there early today because I was supposed to train someone. I woke up and the clock said 8:10!! I panicked and put on the first outfit I saw and ran out the door without doing my hair or makeup! I didn’t even pee when I woke up! Somehow I made it to work by 9:05, 1 minute before my boss!! I am still trying to get settled in but it was hectic!

I managed to make oats at some point this morning!

Archer Farms Blueberry Almond Oats with 1/2 a banana and skim milk.

With a cup of Tazo Awake Tea! I am a little better now but my hair is a big poof ball from the rain and not brushing it this morning! Blahh!

Back to Last Night….

After work I went right to the mall to do a secret shop. I got to get a makeover at Bare Essentials! It was such a tease though because I had to buy a $60.00 kit that I LOVED and return it!

I had some time to kill before I was allowed to do the return so I headed over to Modell’s and got some new weights!

I plan to start the Jillian Michael’s 30-Day Shred Challenge as soon as it arrives in the mail so I needed some weights for it! Hopefully the DVD arrives today! I have heard great things about it throughout the blog world so I am looking forward to trying it!

I got home from the mall around 8:30 and wanted a quick easy dinner.

Turkey Wrap!!!!

My wrap contained:

  • 2 slices Alpine Lace White American
  • 2 slices Low Salt Boar’s Head turkey
  • Hummus
  • Mustard
  • Cucumbers
  • Lettuce
  • Pickles

With some popchips on the side!!!

Along with a Rum and Fuze drink!

My roommate gave me fun chocolates for dessert!!

Yeee Haw!

About 2 hours later I was craving something sweet again! I brought out a nice mix of sugar-free chocolate and vanilla pudding!

With some whipped cream on top! Pudding always does the trick!

I woke up in the middle of the night hungry again (I blame PMS!!), so I brought out a mini bar from Raw Revolution!
I decided to try the Chocolate Coconut flavor.

Ingredients:

Cashew, dates, agave nectar, cocoa powder processed with alkali, almond, sprouted flax

Nutrition Facts:

Calories: 100, Fat: 7 grams, Carbohydrates: 10 grams, Sugar: 5 grams, Protein: 3 grams

I love the short ingredient list of all the Raw Revolution Bars. 100 calories is also always nice too! I was a little skeptical to try this flavor because I am not a huge fan of coconut. I was actually pleasantly surprised. You could taste the chocolate a lot more than the coconut. There were coconut chunks throughout the bar but they were not overwhelming. The bar was chewy and filling as well. I would not go out of my way to buy this flavor but it was okay for a little snack.
I will leave everyone with some more contests going on in blog land!
