Hello! Yesterday I mentioned that I was going to save my Sunday night dinner for today’s post since it involves a giveaway! I received a few things from MyBlogSpark and ProgressoFoods a few days ago that were perfect tools and ingredients for a delicious dinner!
- Sample Pack of Progresso panko
- Carton of Progresso broth
- Measuring cup
- Slotted spoon
- Soup ladle
- Sheet pan for baking.
I was very excited about the panko since my sister cooked panko breaded tilapia for me a few months ago and I’ve been meaning to buy it ever since!
About Progresso’s panko and broths:
Progresso broths are 100% natural and use high quality ingredients to achieve a great homemade taste. They are fat free, gluten free, contain no preservatives, no added MSG and no artificial flavors. Progresso broth is available in chicken and reduced sodium chicken and beef flavors
On Sunday I decided to make panko breaded chicken. Main ingredients:
I dipped the chicken in Egg Beaters, coated it with panko, and then put it on the baking pan.
I had extra eggs left so I decided to do the same thing with mushrooms and squash. I added garlic powder, pepper, and chili to give the chicken and vegetables some flavor.
I set the oven to 400 degrees and cooked everything for 20 minutes. I topped the chicken with red sauce and lots of veggies.
The chicken came out great! It was crispy and very flavorful.
I topped a piece of the chicken over salad with veggies, red cause, and a little bit of whole wheat pasta.
Great dinner! It was like fried chicken but without all the greese and fat!
Last night I had leftovers! Delicious the next night too!
I will definitely be cooking with the panko again very soon! I want to make panko breaded fish and maybe some chicken fingers too!

Whenever I make something with quinoa (which I LOVE), I always use chicken broth to boil it in! It gives it a lot more flavor.

I would use the broth in Thanksgiving cornbread dressing!

I would use broth to cook some chicken breast in. Makes an easy shredded chicken for use in chicken salad for lunches. Much cheaper then buying lunch meat!
