Yay it is finally the weekend!!
I ended up going to the gym at lunch. I did one of Gina’s fun workouts:
Fitnessista Elliptical Workout
I stayed on for 30 minutes with a 1 minute cool down.
Stats:
Calories Burned: 220
Average Heart Rate: 146
Maximum Heart Rate: 172
Love those mid-day workouts!! I always need it since I am forced to sit a desk for 8 hours straight!
I pretty much did no work all afternoon. I got to catch up on blogs so I am not complaining! The time just went by sooo slow. My afternoon snack was the rest of my Honest Foods bar from breakfast.
After work, I went back to the gym for a little. It was one of those nights where I really did not feel like being there. I knew I had to have a planned workout or else I would get right off the machine. I decided to do a different elliptical workout from Fitnessista! Thanks Gina!
I did her 30 Minute Elliptical Workout. I think I was moving in slow motion the whole time. I felt so tired. I forced myself to do 40 minutes even though I was ready to stop at 15! I burned 320 calories at least. I left the gym right when the 40 minute mark hit.
I came ready for some dinner! I still had another serving of leftover whole wheat pasta from the beginning of the week so I made that.
I started off by grilling some mushroom to mix in the pasta.
I added Smart Balance Spray Butter to give them some flavor. I also heated up some frozen veggies. Luckily they did not land on the floor tonight!
I heated my pasta up in the microwave for a few minutes and added some spray butter and Parmesan cheese.
I mixed the pasta and veggies all together with some cucumbers and hummus.
This was one delicious mix of food! I really could eat hummus on anything!
I wanted something fun for dessert and saw these in the fridge:
I decided to mix them into some Chobani!
Along with pumpkin butter and mini chocolate chips! Delicious! The figs were so good in my yogurt! I have to be careful to not eat the whole container at once!
I am not doing anything else tonight so I should probably try to go to bed soon! I am having some rum right now to make me pass out. I will seriously try not to go back into that kitchen! Friday’s are sometimes evil for me when I am home doing nothing. I just have to think about how I felt the other night when I caved. Hopefully I will be okay!
