Outback, Coldstone, and Blue Moon Complete Me

Hope everyone is having a fun Friday night! I am waiting for my laundry to be done and drinking a beer so I figured I would blog real quick!

Today was one of those days where I could not get full! I had a nice afternoon snack of a plum and Barney Butter!

Wonderful combination!

I usually eat dinner at 9 but today I ate it at 7 since I was starving and skipped the gym! The boy and I met at Outback for a nice dinner!

We started out with the amazing loaf of bread that they serve.

I had half the load with some butter. It seriously is my favorite bread ever so I don’t mind eating a lot of it!

I was trying to decide on a beer and saw one that looked a little like Blue Moon (my new obsession). It is called Shock Top and was available for only a limited time so I decided to try it!

It was good! It had a stronger taste than Blue Moon but was still good!

I was feelin good after that monstrosity!

I got a house salad with Tangy Tomato dressing without cheese.

For my main course, I could not decide between the Filet Mignon, Atlantic Salmon, or Tilapia. I had the salmon the last time I was at Outback and the steak the time before that so I decided to try the tilapia!

Fresh Tilapia with Pure Lump Crab Meat

Fresh Tilapia crowned with a crab stuffing, then topped with pure lump crab meat and sliced white button mushrooms, finished with a drizzle of light lemon butter Chablis sauce. Served with fresh seasonal veggies.

I asked for the butter sauce on the side to make it a bit healthier! I’m glad I did because it was delicious without it!

The crap meat (okay, I meant crab meat but it was too funny to fix!!) and mushrooms were so flavorful! The tilapia was a huge piece so I only ate half. Perfect meal!

Boyfriend got the New York Strip so I had some steak too! Delicious!

He has been begging me for months to go to Coldstone with him since I have never been there before! It was right next door to Outback so I agreed to go tonight!

I tried to make it a little healthy so I got the Sinless Sans Fatâ„¢Non-fat No Sugar Added Ice Cream. Of course I had to get some Oreos to mix in there too!

So good! I can’t believe I have been missing out on this my whole life!

I got home and had a package waiting for me!

It was from Mr. Krispers Baked Rice Snacks! It contained 4 bags of Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers:

  • Original
  • Roasted Garlic
  • Sweet Onion
  • Rosemary & Olive Oil

It also contained 4 bags of Mr. Krispers Baked Rice Krisps:

  • Sea Salt & Pepper
  • Barbecue
  • Sour Cream N’ Onion
  • Nacho

Product review coming soon :)

I am off to go drink some more Blue Moon! The boy is behind me eating edamame and chips with hummus. No clue how he does it. I am jealous though!

Tomorrow morning, I will be going to a gym class with Dori and a special guest! Come back tomorrow to find out who!!

Have a good night!

When I was still an omnivore, I used to frequent Outbacks and loved the yummy bread. I always got the Alice Spring chicken without the bacon.

omg – COLDSTONE! It was BAD news when it was a few miles from my old office. You have to have their Cake Batter ice cream! I think they have it in the sinless version? SO GOOD!

I could eat the Outback bread by the loaf. And that buttah…
