As I was sitting here blogging this morning, the mail guy put a huge box next to my desk!
I opened it and it was tons of products from Newman’s Own!
I tried to lay out all the foods in separate piles so you can get a closer look!

All I have to say is WOW! So many delicious looking foods to try!! This seriously made my day! Thank you to Sally from Newman’s Own!!!
How am I going to get all of this food home? I had it shipped to work because I did not want to have to track it down at the post office. Good thing I did because I can’t even lift the box! I stuffed all the food into about 6 shopping bags so far! Should be an interesting subway ride home!!
For lunch I went into Balducci’s and relaxed because I just was not feeling the gym today. Maybe after work? I might have to with all this food surrounding me!!
I had the same lunch as yesterday, TUNA & GOAT CHEESE!!!
This girl can never have too much goat cheese!!
Of course I had to try out one of my new Lesser Evil snacks!!!
I decided on their newest flavor, Veggie! The sticks are a mixture of Potato, Corn, Spinach, and Broccoli!
I loved that they were multi-colored! The shape and nice crunch also makes them so fun to eat! My first thought was that they were a little bland tasting. After eating a few more, I decided that I really liked them! They had a slight hint of veggie flavor that was not too over empowering! I think they would be great dipped in hummus! I would definitely buy these again!
As I was leaving Balducci’s, I spotted SAMPLES!!
There were 3 different flavors to try. I know one was Olive, Bean, and Chili. I decided to taste the Bean spread!
Yummy! I did not catch what brand the dip was but I will check back next time because it was really good!
I needed something sweet after all this yummy food so of course I dug into one of my new goodies!
Newman’s Own Cinnamon Hermits!!!
According to the Newman’s Own Website, Hermits are an old-fashioned soft cookie made with delicious organic raisins and sweetened with organic molasses.
Ingredients
Cinnamon:
Organic Unbleached Wheat Flour, Organic Raisins, Organic Molasses, Organic Sugar, Organic Palm Fruit Oil, Oats, Organic Figs, Raisin Paste, Cinnamon and other Spices, Leavening (Baking Soda, Monocalcium Phosphate), Salt, Rice Bran Extract.
Nutrition Facts
Serving Size: 1 cookie (22g), Calories per Serving: 80, Calories from fat: 15, Total Fat: 1.5g (saturated fat: 1gm), Cholesterol: 0mg, Sodium: 60mg, Total Carbohydrates: 17g (dietary fiber less than 1g, sugars: 10g), Protein: 1g
The verdict: DELICIOUS!!! It tastes just like an oatmeal raisin cookie! So soft and delicious with a wonderful cinnamon flavor. I just have to be careful with these since just 1 cookie contains 80 calories. I will put them in a hard to reach area in the house! Perfect dessert for any meal though!
An hour later, I dug into my desk again! I have not had Dried Apricots in years and they are one of my favorite dried fruits!! I had to try some!!!
I had 4 apricots pictures on the right of the package plus another 3 more after. So good!!! I just locked my desk up so hopefully I stop eating everything in site!
Now I think I will at least go to the gym for a half hour after work since I will not be able to go all weekend. I also have plans to go to Friday’s tonight for dinner with the boy since we have a Buy 1 get 1 Free entree coupon!!
Wish me luck! 3 more hours to go with about 50 snacks in my desk! This takes MAJOR CONTROL! I just have to remember, I am wearing a dress tomorrow! It is my sister’s engagement party! I do not want to feel big in my dress! I also have no gum either for that very reason! Here we go…!

My favorite Newman’s Own product are their Ginger O’s. They taste like those white sandwich cookies, except with a ginger snap type cookie. They are delicious and I love to eat them with some warm tea! Have a great weekend Missy! Enjoy your snacks!!!

Oh my gosh – so totally jealous of your Newman’s O’s. I LOVE them,but now I must try the Hermits. How do you get all these samples Missy? Do I need to start calling companies and begging…because I’m not above begging when good food is involved.
PS – 4 days, no gum. I think going cold turkey is key. It’s gotten much easier after Day 1.
