Today after lunch, I got a nice big package in the mail!
I was hoping it was my heart rate monitor that I ordered last week and I was right!!
Around 4, I had a snack of an apple and cocoavia bar. I also had 2 mugs of Peach Green Tea. I was not really hungry but it was there and I knew I would be having a late dinner so why not.
After work I went to the gym and did 25 minutes on the elliptical. I did 2 minutes at level 3 and 2 minutes and level 10. I had to do the machine without the arms because all of the others were being used but I tried to still move my arms as much as possible.
At 7:30 I took a Total Body Conditioning Class. It was great tonight! The teacher is really good on Tuesdays. We started off with a great warm up of jogging around the room, relay races, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, push ups,knee ups, and squats. The rest of the class we spent using hand weights and a barbell to work our whole body. I cannot wait to use the heart rate monitor next week in this class!
I finished off my workout with a 20 minute walk at a speed of 4.0 just to wind down. It felt great to get such a good workout after taking 3 days off!
I got home around 9 very hungry for dinner of course! I was not sure what to make but I knew I had zucchini and squash to use so I cooked them on the stove.
I was going to make a sweet potato to go with the veggies because I had one left from a few weeks ago. Apparently it was a few weeks too long because there was mold growing from it!!
I added some cucumbers, salad, and hummus on the side.
