Nalini Method Class 2 and Healthified Cheese Puffs!

Breakfast today was a yummy one! I brought an Apple Ginger Honest Foods Bar with a Chobani!

I also added a Barney Butter packet and blueberries!!

Perfection!

All with a cup of Tazo Awake tea.

I was able to comment on people’s blogs this morning because I logged into my computer from home remotely. I already have to find a new website though because my free trial expired! It was fun while it lasted!

During my lunch break, I did 33 minutes on the elliptical. Fun stuff.

I came back and had a repeat of yesterday’s lunch!

Tuna with hummus, Laughing Cow, mustard, cucumbers, and lettuce on Rudi’s Bakery whole wheat bread!

With the last of my Mr. Krisper’s Sour Cream N’ Onion Chips!!

I spent my entire afternoon stuffing shampoo into gift bags. At least it kept me busy….

I snacked on a Chocolate Chip Z-Bar while I worked.

They are still my favorite bar out of everything I have tried so far!

I also snacked on some blueberries!

After work, I met Dori and Melissa so we could take the Nalini Method class together! Dori and I took it last week (see my review here) and loved it! I was excited to try it again; especially to see what Melissa thought of it!

Once again, it was amazing! The teacher changed a few things up from last week which was nice. Instead of doing arm weights standing up, we sat on a block. She said that it is good to sit down every now and then because people tend to rock back and forth when they are standing to help lift the weights.

We used the resistance band again around our legs. We also used the ankle straps for extra resistance. We did butt exercises while laying down that BURNED.

We also used an exercise ball between our legs while doing squats against the ballet barret. My legs would not stop shaking!!

We used a weight disk this time which we did not use last week. We had to sit against the wall doing several arm exercise with the disk. OW.

The major difference this week was abs. Instead of using resistance bands and ballet barrets, we used weights on our feet, ankle straps, and the disk. We had to stay in the C-like position with the weights over our feet while moving our arms on and off of our legs. It was soooo painful. We did tons of reps. I seriously was about to cry!! I liked the challenge but would probably prefer last week’s abs since this was a little too hard!!

I really loved this class!! The teacher is amazing and stretched us out and massaged our backs. I really wish I could afford to take it full time! I am so sore right now! I know I would get so toned if I took this class more. Everyone in New York seriously needs to try it!!! It is just $32.00 for your first two sessions.

Dori gave me some Jamfrakas to try out…Banana Chocolate and Peanut Butter!

I ate the peanut butter one on the subway ride home so no picture! I liked it but I would still prefer a Peanut Butter Z-Bar over that for the same amount of calories. Dori said the banana flavor is better so I am excited to try it!

I got home and had a few packages waiting for me! Remember a few weeks ago when Navitas Naturals sent me a water bottle, Goji, Cocoa, and Acai Power?

Today they sent me another water bottle, Stevia Powder, Organic Coconut Sugar, Organic Yacon Powder Sample, and Organic Lucuma Powder Sample!

I am excited to try the Stevia powder! A review to come!

I also received Divine Foods Boomi Bars and Prana Bars!

They are all natural, organic, gluten free, and raw!

I finally ate dinner around 10:30 at night! I was starving so I made something quick and easy!

PB & J!! Actually Barney Butter and Bauman’s Blueberry Butter!!

I also had Michael Season’s Cheddar Cheese Puffs!

Baked Cheddar Puff with 65% less fat then the regular cheddar puff… you will love this all natural, wheat free & gluten free snack! Made with real cheese & organic cormeal, this will be your new favorite snack!

They were delicious! I was not a huge fan of the Michael Season’s chips but these were pretty close to the real thing!! They only have 130 calories per serving! They are also all natural, wheat free, gluten free, and no trans fat! They are definitely a nice substitute to the cheese puffs I used to eat as a kid!!

I also had 2 Newman’s Own Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups! Sometimes food is just too good to take a picture. Yummmm! They were just as good as a Reese’s to me!

I have to wake up in 7 hours so I better go! Good Night!

Wow that class sounds super tough! What an awesome workout, though! In general, I’d rather have go to an (almost) too hard class than not be challenged enough. I always feel a little let down afterwards if the class isn’t good.
    Your eats look delicious :D

    Hey Missy,
I’m with you…i LOVE Z-bars, too. I buy them for my son, but I end up scarfing them down most of the time. Poor little Sam! ha! Anyway, sorry you can’t blog at work. I’m waiting for them to start blocking me as well b/c I work for the DoD. What will I spend all my downtime doing? TAke care!

    sounds like a cool class!

sucks about the work/internet situation! I temped as a receptionist in NY for a while, and the companies that had no internet at the desk….ah. The hours were torturous!

your blog makes me miss NY so much! (I still read daily, just don’t often comment!)
