Yesterday was a nice lazy Sunday since I was so tired from my 14 mile bike ride the day before! I woke up craving some cereal!
I decided on Cinnamon Puffins and MyWayCereal!
First I tried Missy’s Mix #1.
It included Oh O’s base, apples, blueberries, choco-cherries.
I mixed it with the Puffins to make it a little more exciting.
I barely saw any apples or blueberries in there so I decided to add my own blueberries, strawberries, and bananas.
Much better! I loved the random choco-cherries in there! Nothing better than chocolate first thing in the morning!
I always need 2 bowls of cereal so I decided to try Missy’s Mix #2 next!
Missy’s Mix #2 included multigrain harvest, apricot, banana, flax seeds.
Do you see any apricots or bananas? I don’t!
I dug further into the tube in search of something other than multigrain harvest…
Nothing!
Once again, I added Puffins since I knew Multigrain Harvest would be pretty boring by itself!
I love the idea of cereal personalization but come on, if I am going to choose my own ingredients, I would love to see a few mixed in there! I am used to Raisin Bran where there are raisins in every bite! I seriously found maybe 1 apricot in my entire bowl! Ridiculous for the steep prices they charge. Sorry MyWay; I won’t be ordering any time soon unless you get a little less stingy with the add- ins.
I basically sat around all day watching family movies on TBS like “Monster in Law.” Of course I made a nice cocktail to help myself relax a little more!
I made it a little nutritious with the strawberries and blueberries! Yum!
I was cravin some chocolate so I decided to give my Shaman Chocolates a try. The other day, I received Organic Dark Chocolate with Acai, Lemon, and Orange, along with Organic Dark Chocolate with Green Tea & Ginger.
Shaman Chocolates uses only the finest quality certified organic and Fair Trade chocolate blended with the best organic ingredients available to make our delicious and rich chocolates.
I pulled out the Acai, Lemon and Orange first.
It was very good! It had a slight hint of orange flavor with a rich dark chocolate taste. It also had a crunch to it which I enjoyed.
Next I tried the Green Tea & Ginger Dark Chocolate.
I did not like this one quite as much as the first one but it was still good. I could taste the green tea but not the ginger. It was perfect at satisfying my chocolate craving. It also has wonderful organic ingredients:
Organic dark chocolate, organic cocoa butter, organic soy lecithin, organic ginger, and organic green tea.
Shaman Chocolates are special because all of the profits support the Huichol Indians in Central Mexico allowing them to keep their ancient traditions alive and ensuring their economic survival.
Shaman Chocolates was created in 2002 after Huichol shaman and healer, Brant Secunda had a visionary dream of people eating chocolate and the chocolate was filling their bodies with love. Chocolate is sacred to the Huichols, who for thousands of years have used it in their ceremonies and left it as offerings to show their love for Mother Earth. Brant Secunda’s vision is realized in Shaman Chocolates that gives all of the profits from the sale of their chocolates to support the Huichols’ economic and cultural survival and keep their ancient Shamanic traditions alive.
Shaman Chocolates also come in other exciting flavors like Dark Chocolate with Ruby Raspberries, Dark Chocolate with Coconut, Milk Chocolate with Hazelnuts, and Milk Chocolate with Macadamia Nuts & Hawaiian Pink Sea Salt.
They can be ordered online here.
Dinner was a nice turkey and ham sandwich with Salt & Pepper popchips!
Along with 2 or 3 more drinks? They are addicting with the added fruit!
I also had some chocolate pudding but it was too yummy to stop and snap a picture!
Guess what, I typed this post at work! I am logged into my computer at home remotely. Basically the only way I can post is if I upload my pictures onto the blog at home first. I can’t upload at all here. I guess from now on I could talk about my food on the following day’s post. The program I am using is only free for a month and then I will have to find another way or pay $20.00 a month! No thanks!
I am off to go look at a few apartments
The mice situation did not get fixed yet! Have a good one!

YES girl YES i totally agree with you on the my way cereal, if you get to add your own mix-ins, why the heck do they seem invisible??!? hahaha
Oooh and you’re a sneaky one aren’t ya? uploading pics at home and then posting ‘em at work? that’s pretty darn smart!

That’s so weird about the non-existent mix-ins. I agree, why have “personalized cereal” if you barely get any of your add-ins? Geez.
That chocolate sounds really good, and they sound like a great company
Haha, way to get around the work computer problem! Have a good rest of your Monday

thats very lame. whats the point of personalizing the cereal if its exactly what you could get at the store, and then you still have to add your own toppings in..

that sucks about the myway
for the price they charge, they could afford a few pieces of dried fruit!

I thoungy they were a little singey with the add ins as well. Me&Goji was much more giving in that department
