Hey! I am back from a wonderful wedding weekend. Thank you for all of your nice comments about my dress. They made me feel a lot better! I went to the tailor on Saturday morning by my sister’s apartment. They were able to fix the bottom of the dress which was completely uneven. They were not able to make my dress any looser but I managed. They charged me another $60.00 to fix the bottom so I plan on going back to the first tailor today with the receipt to try to get some money back. If not, I will dispute the charge on my credit card since I did not get the services I paid for. We’ll see! The wedding was perfect and beautiful so I was not too worried about the dress.
Saturday during the day we got very nice manicures and pedicures in Long Island. My sister’s rehearsal dinner was at night at an Italian restaurant called Sergio’s. There were 65 people there!

There was a 4 course menu. I got salad, minestrone soup, and my sister and I split the Chicken with Mushrooms Marcela and the Filet of Sole. They had all kinds of cookies for dessert. It was delicious!
After dinner, most of the bridal party went out to a bar. I was already pretty tipsy from all of the wine but I do not turn down more drinks!My cousin and I:

We ate breakfast at the same time! I am holding a mushroom and tomato egg white omelet with whole wheat toast.My sister’s hair! It came out so pretty!
We got to the synagogue around noon and did photo shoots and a rehearsal. They decorated everything so nicely. There were pictures of my sister and Mike with candles and rose peddles all over.

Seriously the prettiest wedding dress I’ve ever seen.
They put out lots of snacks for us while getting ready! Fruit, vegetables, chicken nuggets, pigs in a blanket, mini turkey wraps, and this chicken that looked like sushi! It had veggies in the center of it.
I had lots of fruit, 2 pieces of the chicken nuggets, a chicken sushi, and a mini wrap. I was starving!I don’t have any pictures of the ceremony yet since I was in it! It was beautiful. My shoe broke right before so I was freaking out about walking down the aisle and falling! I put a safety pin on my heel so I was okay.
The cocktail hour was amazing. There was SO much food. They had a station with hummus, pitas, and falafel. They had a sushi station and there were actually sushi chefs making the sushi in front of you! They had a station with Brandi-infused duck and Brandi shots next to it. They also had one with tequila lime chicken and tequila shots next to it! There was a huge grilled veggie and fruit display, pasta, and basically everything and anything you could ever imagine.

We did some drinking and dancing and started dinner. Luckily my cousin sat next to me and knows about the blog so I was able to get pictures!Pretty salad!
The roll was stuffed with roasted squash, eggplant, and sweet potato! Amazing!Speech time! I was so nervous but everyone loved my speech. I did okay since I had a few drinks in me!

Chocolate molten lava cake, chocolate covered strawberry, ice cream in a chocolate shell, and peaches. Can we say heaven?? By this point, my dress broke and the zipper busted! My back was all open but I did not care since it was the end of the night and I was slightly drunk!I was not kidding about taking shot after shot! It was crazy!
They left for their hotel in a Rolls Royce!
The entire night was amazing! The food was great, the band was the best I’ve ever heard at a wedding, and everything was beautiful!Sunday night I got to stay in the hotel suite my by myself! It was fun! On Monday my parents and I picked up my sister and her husband (so weird to say) and went to the Mets/Phillies game!
We met her husband’s parents there along with the Rabbi that married them! It was so nice that we all got to sit together!
