Good Morning! I decided to do a little weekend recap before I head to Equinox for my last inTensati class! On Friday I got my hair cut after work and then picked up some dinner at Whole Foods.
I got pretty much everything!
- Baked tofu
- Roasted cauliflower, broccoli, and brussels sprouts
- Sprout salad
- Beats
- Cabbage
- Edamame
I went home and went with my roommate to Five Burro for a quick margarita!
I got my favorite new flavor, apricot. I swear the tequila was filled to the very top. Crazy.
Saturday morning I woke up and made some Cheerios with bananas and raisins.
I then went to a double feature at the movies! We saw Avatar in 3D and Book of Eli. They were both really good. I thought I would not like Avatar but actually really loved it.
We hit up Uno for dinner since it was right across the street! I started with a house salad.
I got the usual….the Roasted Vegetable Feta Flax Wrap!
I got extra roasted veggies on the side instead of fries. So good! I took the night off from drinking since I feel a little cold coming on.
This morning I decided to try some stovetop oats since I never get to make them during the week.
I mixed oatbran, canned pumpkin, cinnamon, Stevia, and blackberries. Great combination! Nice change from the usual instant oats in the microwave. I also had some Tazo Awake tea since I am sleepy! My neighbors decided to start drilling at 9:00 am this morning. Gotta love that on a Sunday.
Random Daisy pictures…..
You know you all like my kitty pajamas. I thought the white one looked like Daisy
I better go get ready for the gym! I am so not in the mood to jump all around right now but can’t miss the inTensai finale! It is 2 hours long but some of that will be talking and stretching. It will be nice to get a good workout since drinks will probably be consumed later during Superbowl! I’m not even sure exactly what I am doing yet. It is between a little house party or sports bar. I’ll decide later!
1) Are you cooking anything for the game?
2) Do you prefer going to a house party or sports bar?
Have fun!

Those veggies look yummy…
Your cat is gorgeous – and the jammies are cute, too!
And… (gasp) I’m not a sports fan. At all. LOL

I don’t know why but Whole Foods salads always look so much better than others. I am contemplating driving an hour and a half just to get one!
I am not cooking anything because I am going to a bar with some friends to watch it. I prefer going to a house party but no one I know is doing anything so bar it is. I usually make a spinach and artichoke dip or chili if I do go to a party.

1. I already cooked up some cookies and am makin’ guac today!!
2. I love going out to bars and dancing. Such fun
But there’s something about house parties that is just better. It’s nice to have a change and be able to socialize and hang out
Have a fun day!!

I had the same exact reaction when I saw Avatar. Went in thinking I would hate the movie and ended up really liking it.
I’m going to attempt to make Runza’s for the Super Bowl. I prefer to stay in for the game. I have the vocab of a trucker when I watch football so it’s better to be in my own surroundings;)

That wrap looks so good! Ever have the fire roasted veggie sandwich at Cosi? It’s pretty similar, and while I was in NY for the smer there was one right on the corner of my office block. Highlight of my day, at LEAST twice a week. My wallet wasn’t such a fan, though…

Wow, a double feature? You must’ve been at the movies for a while! I reeeeally want to see Avatar. Still haven’t gotten around to it yet :/ And I’m determined to see it while it’s still in theaters!
I’m surprised to see that Uno has such a healthy wrap? A FLAX wrap? I would’ve never thought! I haven’t been there in years…they do have a bangin’ flatbread pizza =)
Thanks for the layout suggestion. I’ll definitely have to check that out! xoxo
p.s. LOVE that you’re a fellow Eagles fan

Hmm, I prefer not watching the Super Bowl! I Just can’t get into professional football, and thankfully Nick didn’t make me watch it, pheww!
Your oat bran looks like my normal breakfast routine. It’s funny I usually do pumpkin OR frozen blackberries, never both, but I like the idea. I usually add a scoop of PB too.
Your WF salad bar rocks. You always make the best salads. I was there yesterday and made a salad but our selection is not as good as yours. No tofu or anything

I think Daisy is getting cuter by the day! I love watching games at a house party because it’s cheaper.
But there IS something about being out at a sports bar with lots of fans!
