Last night I went to the Phillies (and Mets) game with Mo and 2 of our other friends. Mari was supposed to come too but got sick yesterday. You were missed Mari! I took the subway to CitiField and spotted Mo with her Mets jersey on…booo!
My friend that works for the Mets hooked us up with great seats! We were 21 seats away from the field.
It was fun sitting with some Mets fans and screaming back and forth!
I had a Stella (X3)!
At least I wasn’t the only crazy food blogger taking pictures of my beer!
We were happy campers with our beers!
I have a very big crush on Chase Utley.
Yes, I took several pictures of his butt. Can you blame me?
All of the sudden the Kiss Cam came on and the people in front of us were on the giant screen! I tried to get on camera but only my hat made it! I think the camera turned away from us as soon as they saw the Phillies symbol!
I got pretty hungry after a few beers so I snacked on a bag of Riceworks chips.
I thought about having a hot dog for dinner but then Mo mentioned pizza afterwards! I decided pizza sounded much more appetizing than an $8.00 hot dog! After the Phillies lost (wahhh), we took the subway back to Queens. The best part was when all of the Phillies fans broke out into a Flyers cheer on the way out. Oh yeah.
I went a few stops past my apartment to Kew Gardens so I could get pizza. I got a slice of mushroom and ended up having a slice of plain too. The slices were giant!! It took me an hour to get home (I was only 3 stops away but the subway is horrible!!!!) I pretty much devoured my pizza by the time I walked in the door.
No picture of the plain slice. I ate it too fast! It was amazing pizza though! It is really hard to find places in Queens that stay open past 11:00! I might be venturing out to Kew Gardens more often
Very fun night!

It is a genetic fact that baseball players are all attractive and have great bone structure. Do they sell rice chips at your stadium? that would be great for something so healthy to be around!

Sounds like fun! I’d love to meet up again this summer. I went to a Yankees game once. I’m not a huge sports fan so I didn’t find it that interesting although you’re right, the players are usually kinda cute
