I had another great night last night! Let’s just say lots of drinking again! More on that later!
Breakfast was the usual oatmeal with cinnamon and a banana. I did not bother with a picture because I don’t think you need to see the same bowl every day! Lunch on the other hand was amazing!
I’ve been bad this week about packing my lunch. I am sick of turkey and have been drunk every night so I obviously never feel like making anything else! It is nice to treat myself to lunch out every now and then anyway since I pretty much bring my lunch 90% of the time!
I went to Hale and Hearty Soups to get the same amazing salad I had the last time I was there!
It contained mixed greens with carrots, cucumbers, edamame, goat cheese, broccoli, and avocado. I had low-fat carrot ginger dressing on top. HEAVEN!
I munched on a few Zesty Ranch Corners for the side. Better than the huge white roll they gave me!
This was seriously one of the best salads I’ve ever had. They chop it all up so the avocado makes everything all moist and delicious! It is a lot cheaper than salads at Westside Market too; I think around $7.00? Not bad for all of those toppings.
I did not bring lunch again because I am kind of craving the same salad again! We’ll see!
As I was sitting at work, I got a delivery of 2 giant boxes. About an hour later, I got a 2nd delivery of another giant box. An hour after that, I got a 3rd delivery!!
The first thing I thought: How was I going to get all of this home??
The first package was from Applegate Farms.
Organic Chicken Strips and Chicken Patties! Yum!
The next box had every type of hot dog possible! There was also some turkey bacon in there hiding under the hot dogs!
I had no clue what to do because they were in dry ice and I knew I was not going home right after work! Luckily the boy was at my apartment so I begged him to take a little 45 minute subway ride here to bring the food home. He agreed!
I asked him that before the other 2 packages came! It worked out perfectly! The next one was….MY JUICER!!!!
So excited! I will start using it next week since I won’t be in New York this weekend! I was worried about getting it home when I ordered it but luckily the boy was already on his way!
The 4th box was extremely heavy! I am not going to mention what was inside yet because the company sent 10 too many so I am waiting to see what happens first! A major giveaway could be a possibility if they let me keep everything!
The boy arrived and I offered to get him a cab back to Queens since 4 heavy boxes would not possible on the subway! It worked out because I was able to take the cab with him to get dropped off at Saks Fifth Avenue just in time for the Live the Life You Love event!
Oh yeah, I snacked on half a Larabar before the event since cheese and crackers are not the most filling dinner!
I got there and met Jaclyn since she decided to come at the last minute! It made it a lot more fun than last time since I had someone to chat with the entire time! We immediately grabbed some complimentary cocktails and headed over to the food! Beautiful spreads again!
I filled my first plate with lots of fruit!
We sat at a table with our cocktails and chatted away!
She gave me half of her raisin bread. It was delicious!!!
Within minutes we went back up for round 2! Another cocktail plus raisin bread, cheese, and crackers!
And another cocktail. Best drink ever!
The event was a lot of fun! The theme of the night was Health, Mind, and Body. The following people gave short little lectures:

The night ended with some awesome gift bags! I got Jaclyn all excited because I told her the gift bag came with a bottle of the NUVO drink. This time it was not included but we worked our magic and each got a bottle 
We also got a few Clarins products, Kiss My Face samples, a running key pouch, and….VIBRATORS!! So great!!
I took the subway home and met the boy at the movies because he saw Zombieland while I was out. I had to pee soooo bad so we stopped in a McDonald’s before heading home. They made us buy something in order to use the restroom so he got a small order of fries.
Yeah, drunk Missy split them with him. How could I not?? So good!
We were both slightly hungry still when we got home so I made a salad with some popchips and hummus. I guess the fruit and crackers just didn’t do it for me. I am pretty proud of myself for making a salad while drunk instead of ice cream or 10 bowls of cereal!
Fun night! Tonight I have yet another exciting event involving bloggers, healthy food, and more drinks!! Stay tuned for a recap tomorrow!

your avocado covered salad looks scrumptious. i am not going to lie, i got a little nauseous when i saw all those hot dogs. but hooray for the rest of the loot! and that event looks awesome, specifically that mound of glorious cheese

What a FUN event!! And, there were vibrators?! EVEN BETTER! I understand the drunken munchies. Fries would do me in for sure. I can't believe they made you buy something in order to use the restroom! Kind of strange.

I love the tossed salads…the place I go to has a low fat honey mustard dressing that is amazing! The event sounds great! I would have loved to go but still really jetlagged! See you Friday (I made reservations for the 9 people who emailed me- can you let me know if more people have contacted you seperately?)

It's about time they started giving away vibrators as swag! LOL. I am very impressed you made a drunken salad, too! Not only could I not handle assembling a salad after a few drinks, I'm pretty sure my mouth wouldn't be havin' it.
