Kombucha Addict and Whole Foods Fun

Yesterday’s bowl of oatmeal was a fun one…

I decided to add Tierra Farm Organic California Mix to plain oats.

It has some wonderful ingredients: Raw Almonds, Walnuts, Pitted Prunes, Black Mission Figs, White California Figs, and Thompson Raisins.

Of course it was even more amazing in my oatmeal!

I also added cinnamon and Artisana Raw Almond Butter. Perfection.

I brought my favorite lunch. I’m sure you can all guess…a turkey and cheese sandwich!

With Michael Season’s Cheese Curls on the side.

I had nothing to do during my lunch so I wandered into Integral Foods Health Food Store. I always end up leaving with one of these…

Apparently I shook it a little too much!

So sad. I was able to salvage more than half the bottle at least! So so addicting.

I snacked on an apple and Kashi Pumpkin bar later in the afternoon but forgot to snap a pic!

I picked up some gum after work and was greeted by this cutie!

Awww. It was sitting on the floor of the little deli! So cuteeeeee!

I went to Whole Foods for dinner because I had a bunch of free coupons to redeem for yogurt and such. I made myself a delicious salad!

The salad included:

  • Mesculin
  • Kale
  • Edamame salad
  • Baked Tofu
  • Kidney Beans
  • Garbanzo Beans
  • Antioxidant Salad

Okay, when I get addicted to something, I go overboard!

They are only $3.39 at Whole Foods compared to $4.99 at other places. How could I resist?

I want this meal every day of my life!

I came home with some free goodies thanks to my coupons!

Lightlife sent me 10 coupons so I was able to redeem 4 of them last night. I got Smart Deli Bologna and Turkey, Smart Tenders, and Smart Ground “Meat.” I brought the turkey and bologna for lunch today so I will let you know what I think tomorrow!

I also had 4 coupons for free Better Whey of Life yogurt.

I got plain, vanilla, and strawberry banana to try. I had one this morning so I will save that for tomorrow’s post!

Dessert was also one of my favorite things ever.

The Lite Choice! I got half Cookies N Cream and half Chocolate Cheesecake with crunchies on top. Sooo freakin good!!

I got home and enjoyed a glass of wine with the boy while watching, The Wrestler.

You know you all like my new fountain! It helps me fall asleep at night but also makes me have to pee!

The boy brought out chips and hummus so I went a little overboard!

Both the hummus and chips were delicious so I could not stop! The bag has 5 servings and we finished it haha. I am hoping he ate faster than I did? Totally not necessary after having fro-yo! Oh well!

I made up for it by going to spin this morning with my sister. It was the same amazing teacher as last Wednesday. He plays the best music and screams so loud so it is very motivating. He will be there for the next two Wednesdays subbing so I’ll be sure to make it!

Sorry for the short post but some girl just gave me a huge project to do. Actually just dumb work that she does not feel like doing herself but I won’t get into it! It is something that can make me lose brain cells basically. Typical…

After work I am venturing out to Brooklyn to go to Ikea. Hopefully I will have some pretty new furniture to show you tomorrow!

Have a good one!

oooh, have fun in IKEA! I love that place (despite the lack of windows!)

I haven't been able to find kombucha yet, but can't wait to try it- though not paying $4.99 for it! Will hit whole foods (have you tried Fairway? They seem to be cheaper than most places!)
