Hope everyone is having a nice Wednesday! I actually had real work to do today so hopefully I can write nice post before this day is over! I will start by recapping back to last night.
I went to the gym after work planning to take spin class. I had about 20 minutes to spare before the class started so I got on the elliptical. I got really annoyed because I just washed my heart rate monitor in the washing machine the day before and it was stuck on 0. After 8 minutes, I just got off and went into the spin room.
As soon as I started warming up on the spin machine, it started to register my heart rate. Very weird. It seemed to work fine the rest of the class so that’s good I guess. The class was great! I was soo drenched. We did crazy intervals and jumps the entire time.

I really am obsessed with the teacher on Tuesdays. She teaches on Sundays too so I should really start getting my butt up on weekends and go!
I went home right after and had a fun surprise waiting for me!
Boyfriend left me a nice note with our Eggland’s Best Buddy and Shrek Princess! So fun! He won me the Shrek girl at the movies the other day after 10 tries. Love it.
I decided to make something for dinner that he would never eat since he was home in Philly.
Boca sausages! They taste good to me but he is Italian so would never settle for fake sausage!! I put one on the stove with some portobello mushrooms!
I also brought out a new flavor of Cedar’s hummus to try!
Artichoke Spinach Hummus! It was soo good! Thick and creamy with little chunks of spinach!
I added Mr. Krispers Salt & Pepper Baked Rice Krisps and salad to dip in the hummus!
Perfect meal! I knew in my head I should stay away from the ice cream since I was alone and had no one to help me stay in control! I decided to just have one little bowl!
Yeah, that would have been fine and dandy but it turned into 3 bowls. No pictures because I knew I would be mad if I saw them today! Blah.. at least the ice cream is gone now. I am not buying it again anytime soon!
I forgot to mention I had a package when I got home
It was from Kingslake & Crane Premium Granola Snack Mixes.
- Mahalo Granola Snack Mix
- Expedition Mix
- Orchard Mix
I decided to try each granola out right away!
First I tried the Mahalo Mix: macadamias, almonds, and oats.
Take your taste buds to the tropics! A generous amount of macadamia nuts and almonds kissed with coconut makes this premium granola snack mix a delicious addition to our family of whole grain healthy snacks.
Delicious uses:
-healthy snack eaten right of the bag
-tuck into your kids back packs or your own carry on bag when traveling
-layered with fruit and yogurt in a breakfast parfait
-crunchy topping on ice cream or pudding
I loved this kind! It had a slight cinnamon, maple flavor to it! I loved the huge macadamias and almonds in every bite!
The next type I tried was the Orchard Mix: Cranberries, Cherries
Bursting with fruit flavor, our Orchard Mix is hand-made and slowly toasted in small batches with no added fats or oils. We use only premium ingredients to ensure an irresistible taste and incredible crunch. Our blend of dried tart red cherries and dried cranberries makes this granola snack mix a favorite for kids and adults alike.
Delicious uses:
-healthy snack eaten right of the bag
-layered with fruit and yogurt in a breakfast parfait
-crunchy topping on ice cream
I loved this one because of the HUGE cherries!! Some types of granola lack in their mix ins but this had tons of cranberries and cherries!
The 3rd flavor I tried was the Expedition Mix: Cranberries, Raisins, Cherries

Inspired by our desire to create a healthy, delicious whole grain on-the-go snack this is a favorite for travel. Our luscious premium blend of dried tart red cherries, cranberries, jumbo dark raisins and award-winning granola combine for an exceptional treat.
Delicious uses:
-healthy snack eaten right of the bag when golfing, fishing, hiking or biking
-airplane snack
-layered with fruit and yogurt in a breakfast parfait
-crunchy topping on ice cream
This may have been my favorite since it had all 3 different types of dried fruits in it. I also like that they are only 120 calories per serving. Sometimes granola can be much more!
I decided to mix all 3 flavors and bring it for breakfast today!
Very delicious in my Chobani!!
I also had a Vitamin Water. It is so refreshing in the morning!
Breakfast held me over very nicely until lunch! I went to the gym since I will not be able to go after work. I had to burn off some of that ice cream from last night! I did 30 minutes on the elliptical. It felt lovely midday!
Lunch was a tuna wrap! I am in desperate need of some food shopping so you may see tuna a few days in a row!
I added lots of hummus, laughing cow cheese, and lettuce.
With the last of my Salt & Pepper Mr. Krispers to munch on!
After work, the boy and I are going to the Phillies/Mets game! We are both Phillies fans even though we are in New York so it will be fun. I have a feeling he might beat someone up tonight though! You know how boys get when they are into sports! I plan to drink lots of beer so I will have plenty of fun

Okay, something random just happened! Someone handed me these shoes!!
She said I could have them because they came from a model shoot upstairs! They are not my size but I will see if my mom likes them! If not, maybe a shoe giveaway will be coming your way!

OMG mr. krispers rocks!!! I love your whole hummus and cracker combo! The two of us seem to be a hummus & any-type-of cracker/chip queens huh?? hahahah it's my favorite snack ever!!!
Those are lovely reviews of the granola!!! You're totally right, granola can be so much higher in calories. 130 is really decent.
heheh And i wouldn't worry too much about the tuna lunches many times this week. It's awesome those things come in cans that don't go bad too fast.
P.s. Make sure you don't eat too much albacore tuna! It's higher in mercury content, and the fact that it's in a tin can doesn't help either!!! Sorry for the long msg, just watchin' out for your health as I myself am a tuna fan too!!!
