What a weekend it was! Thank you for all of your nice comments regarding my photo shoot for Shape! I am beyond excited about the whole thing! I had a pretty relaxing weekend after such an awesome Saturday morning!
After brunch, my friend and I decided to go to the movies since it was so gross and rainy outside. I brought a few snacks since we decided to see 2 movies. I knew we would not be eating again till around midnight!
We saw Law Abiding Citizen and then Couples Retreat. They were both very good!
We got out at 12 and looked for a place to have a late dinner. We were thinking about doing Saki and sushi but the restaurant was closed already. We finally decided to eat at UNO which was open till 2. We both hadn’t been there in at least 10 years!
I started off with a Blue Cosmo: Stoli Blueberry, Ocean Spray 100% Juice Cranberry & Blueberry Blend, Cointreau, & Lemon Juice.
I found the perfect wrap for dinner!
I think it’s funny that they say the calories are between 550 and 960. Maybe because they give you a choice between veggies and fries? I chose veggies so hopefully mine was closer to the 550!
It was delicious! The roasted veggies were so good. I kept adding more and more in the wrap since they kind of stuffed most of it with lettuce.
I also enjoyed some my friend’s fries. He got a Firecracker Grilled Chicken sandwich.
We also had Bud Light Limes before we left.
I passed out right after dinner since I was up since 5:40 in the morning!
Sunday
I bought lots of organic veggies from Whole Foods on Friday so I could start using my juicer finally! I decided to make the boy and I fresh orange juice!
I only had 3 oranges and we barely got 1 glass out of it. Next time I will buy a lot more! He was very impressed with the juice! It was so refreshing!
I used the pulp for my dying plant!

Not sure if it will work but it is worth a try!
I also made an omelet with Laughing Cow and a slice of toast with Crofter’s superfruit spread.
I wanted something sweet after so I made a baked apple with cinnamon, pumpkin butter, and chocolate chips!
Oh and whipped cream too! Haha forgot about that.
I cleaned all day and made a great dinner! I am going to wait till tomorrow to post about dinner because it involves a giveaway!
Today!
I had a very productive morning already! I woke up at 5:50 in time to make juice and go to the gym!
I decided to keep it simple for my first time and used cucumber, pear, and celery.
It was pretty good! It gave me lots of energy for my workout! I did 50 minutes on the elliptical and 5 minutes of abs. I got to work starving and made a bowl of apple cinnamon McCann’s Irish Oatmeal with a banana and black tea. Yum!

Well I am off to get ready for lunch! I brought a tuna and LC sammy with Michael Season’s Cheese Curls! I am excited!
Monday Question of the Day! (Must win this vacation!)
Bachelor Seeks Help with Time Management
Q: I am thinking about hiring a life coach to help me better manage my time. You see I am about to turn 40 and my work schedule keeps me in the office and on the road most of the time but this routine is growing tired. Now that I am hitting this milestone in years I would like to spend time enjoying life and hopefully find someone with whom to share it. Can a life coach help me out and if so can anyone recommend someone good who also does phone sessions?
Thanks for all of your help so far! I’ve been getting some great responses! Have a nice day!

Juicing looks so fun. I was mad that my mom gave away our juicer at a garage sale several years ago (before I went all health-nutty). What kind of juicer do you have?

Emily: I got the Breville Two-Speed Juice Fountain PLus. (Gena's recommendation above!) Love it!

Sounds like a fun weekend!
I remember when I was younger, my mom had a juicer and my dad was always using it lol… I recall a lot of Carrot Juice in my past =)
In regards to the question: If he can afford a life coach than go for it. Sometimes people need a little bit of structure. You might not need the life coach for long term but just to guide you in the right direction.

Yay for juicing! I'm pretty religious about juicing these days myself…5-6 days a week. I look forward to it every morning! Though you should see the amount of produce I go through. It's a little pricey. Oh well, so worth it!
And your Shape photo shoot is SO cool. What a dream come true!

I always laugh at the calorie counts like that- Chipotle does the same with ridiculous ranges (burritos- 350-20000000000 or something!)
Love the Halloween plates!
The Q…hehe, I am a qualified life coach and would be happy to do phone sessions! Work/life balance is a major thing that people come to life coaches for

That roasted veggie wrap with feta DOES sound like the perfect wrap, yum!
I need to get a juicer, and I love that you used the pulp on your plants. We don't have any inside plants (no room) but when we do I will keep that in mind.
