IntenSati on the Intrepid!

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was going to be doing IntenSati on the U.S.S Intrepid. The event happened on March 11 and I’ve just been too lazy/busy to blog about it! The official video just came out so I figured now would be a good time!
This was the largest intenSati class in NYC, with over 200 people working it out on an aircraft carrier flight deck! The event was held to benefit HEALTHCLASS2.0, a public school program created by intenSati instructor Natalia Pertzela, empowering children and their communities to engage in new conversations about health, food and exercise and to bring about transformation in their own lives and the world around them. In each session, participants exercise, eat a healthy, locally-sourced snack, and engage in a thoughtful discussion of the food they are consuming. The event was a huge success!
We had an amazing view of the city, the Hudson, and a cruise ship on top of the flight deck! There was a DJ blasting my favorite techno music and everyone just started dancing as soon as they got up there!
It was a beautiful and very windy day!
We had such a blast and the workout was fun and amazing as always.
Check out the official video below:
I am in the white hoodie in the beginning and wearing a blue intenSati tank towards the end! I look like I can actually do a push up in this video! Yeah!
Have you ever worked out in a really cool place? Where?
