With bathing suit season on the way, I know a lot of us are ready to lose a few of those winter pounds. I am actually heading to Puerto Rico in April and need a little extra motivation so that I can feel confident in my bikini! I was very excited when I received the opportunity to embark on a 30-day challenge from a new site called iChange. Better yet, the folks at iChange are allowing any of my readers to join in on the challenge!

iChange is a site that is built on the idea that losing weight is more easily achieved with support from others, with a system through which individuals can receive professional counseling and support from other members. They were founded last year by some of the early investors in eHarmony. I joined the site today and there is a food journal, exercise journal, a place to track your water intake, hours of sleep, moods, and places to interact with one another for support.
The wonderful people at iChange are going to give me and any other reader who wants to join a free trial 30-day Challenge membership (normally $19/month). There will be no cost to myself or to you if you join the challenge. iChange would just like feedback about the site and the program.
30 Day Challenge Test Details:
- Here is your Private Group Link: www.ichange.com/partners/missymaintains. Please feel free to post this link to your blog and invite any friends.
- The link will take you to a registration process where you can sign up for the test program
- There is a 7 day window from today to register for the group. After that, registrations will be closed.
- Once sign-up is complete, we will all be in a private group that will be headed up by Diana Young, one of their Registered Dietitians.
- The program will be a 30-Day Challenge during which time Diana will give the group a nutrition plan and set of guidelines with a goal of starting a healthy weight loss program of ~2 pounds per week.
- It will be absolutely FREE for everyone in the group. After the 30 day test, you are free to continue with the nutritionist led program for $19.99/month, but there is absolutely no pressure to continue. iChange is interested in getting feedback about our experience at this point.
- The group does not need to disband after the 30 day challenge. The groups functionality of the site is a free feature available to all members so we’d be welcome to continue, as a group (without the nutritionist) after our 30 day Challenge.

If you have any questions or concerns, let me know! If you are ready to make a positive change for yourself, take the next step and sign up here. I look forward to working with all of you to live a healthier lifestyle.

I’m not really interested in losing weight, but I would still love to participate. As an RD to be I think it would be really helpful to see the nutrition plan given by an actual Registered Dietitian! And I can always incorporate healthier habits into my routine

Sounds like a great site! I’m not looking to lose weight but it seems like this would be a great resource for people who need some motivation to stick with it.

This is really cool! I think I might sign up. I’m so busy this month so I’m worried I won’t actually have time to keep track of such things – but at the same time, being busy means I need to work extra hard to make sure I’m healthy. Thanks for the opportunity!

There are so many new websites with programs, similar to this, that are now being created! I am excited about it, but at the same time I think it’s kind of scary. I don’t always agree with what the nutrition recommendations are. For example, I went to the Daily Burn (which is similar to this) the other day and they told me to consume 4 grams of protein per kg bodyweight!!! That’s awful.
Do you know if this “nutritionist” is an RD? There is a huge difference between the two. Either way, good luck with this program! It does sound challenging, and fun. I might check it out sometime, but not now. I am still reviewing other sites that are similar!

Yes, Diana is an RD. So far I find it easier to use than SparkPeople. I am just not used to counting calories!
