Haha!

You might be wondering about the title. I started this post last night and just wrote a random title so I could save it. I had to keep the ”Haha!” today because it made me laugh! I know I’m weird.

Workouts!

I was able to make it to Core Fusion last night after all! It was day 4 of the challenge! I decided to go to a new location so that I could take the class with Fred Devito, the founder of Core Fusion and guy from the videos!

The Soho location is much smaller than the other locations I’ve been to. I walked up a large flight of stairs and right into the studio. There was a small space for our coats and a little corner with a curtain for changing. I was glad I changed into my workout clothes beforehand!

Fred saw me and asked me how the challenge was going! I told him that it was going well and that I was nice and sore from my previous class. He told me that he was very impressed that Dori was able to get so many people to join along in her challenge. He also asked if I needed anything from him. So nice!

I won’t get into too much detail about the class again but it was HARD. My legs were burning even more than the day before! I wanted to cry during abs. There is something about the way Fred teaches that makes me want to work my hardest. Everything he says is extremely motivating.

At the end of class, Fred told everyone about Dori’s challenge! He said that there was a girl doing Core Fusion for 30 days and to check out her diary on the Core Fusion website. I texted Dori and told her she was famous! Before I left class, Fred told me I looked stronger in the positions since the last time I took a class with him. Very nice to hear!

Tonight I will not be able to go to Core Fusion so I went to the gym this morning! I was dead tired and sore so it was a struggle to stay on any one machine. I did the elliptical for 7 minutes and then walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes. I felt like passing out so I stretched on the mat for a while. The good thing about early morning workouts is that I pretty much have to stay at the gym since I have nothing else to do before work. If this morning happened to me after work, I definitely would have left after the 20 minutes! I still had 45 minutes left till I needed to shower so I walked for another 15 minutes on the treadmill. I did the stepper for 7 minutes. I did the other weird elliptical thing for 7 minutes. I pretty much covered every machine in the gym! It turned out to be a decent workout :) I spent my last 10 minutes in the steam room. Nice and relaxing!

Eats

I went back to oats yesterday!

001

My bowl contained 2 packets of 365 plain instant oats with cinnamon, skim milk, and Gerber freeze dried fruits! The apple and strawberries made a wonderful addition to the oatmeal.

I went to Hale and Hearty for lunch again. Yes, slightly addicted. I had a good reason though! I had one of those “buy 10 salads, get 1 free” cards! My salad below was free! (almost)

002

I added some extra toppings since I knew it would be free. I got carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, asparagus, goat cheese, and avocado. Apparently I got one too many toppings because they charged me $0.65 for the goat cheese. Still a great deal for my delicious salad!

I had a Glow Gluten Free Double Chocolate cookie for dessert. YUM!

012

Dinner was a repeat Mexican salad since I had lots of leftovers!

005

This time with a glass of red wine :)

006

I had some sugar-free chocolate fudge pudding for dessert. I had about half that bowl and saved the rest for…today!

007

I will leave you with a funny picture! I turned around and guess who was in the fridge!

025

Have a great day!
