Happy Thanksgiving!!!! I am about to leave for Philly soon but wanted to do a little recap of my afternoon yesterday!!
I got off at 1:00 and met my friend at Whole Foods! I made a yummy salad. They did not have too many options since one of the salad bars was all Thanksgiving food! I did not want turkey or stuffing yet so I stuck with the usual!
- String beans
- Roasted sweet potatoes
- Roasted cauliflower
- Cucumbers
- Carrots
- Edamame
Since they had no baked tofu (so sad), I got some soup to go with my salad. There were some great options but I went with minestrone! It was delicious!
After lunch, we decided to go to The Lite Choice! They sent me coupons for me and 3 friends to receive a free small cup of yogurt! They noticed that I mention their fro-yo on my blog all the time so they sent me some coupons in return. Thank you Lite Choice!!
On our way to get fro-yo, we ended up walking by the parade balloons! They were blowing them all up!
I got myself a cool Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon haha.
We both really had to pee after seeing the balloons. There was no Starbucks around so I suggested we go into a bar, buy a beer, and use their bathroom! I got a Bud Light
We finally arrived at The Lite Choice after our beer. I got 1/2 French Vanilla and 1/2 Caramel Fudge. Yum!
Since I only had 1 friend and not 3, I decided it would be a good idea to give someone the coupons. It was cold and rainy so no one was in the store. I walked outside and heard a little boy say he was hungry. I asked his mom if she wanted two coupons for free ice cream and she said no! She was pretty rude about it too. Oh well, her loss!
We went to my apartment and hung out for a while. Around 9, we decided to go have some dinner. We ended up at Uno again!
I got a Sky vodka with cranberry/pomegranate juice. Yum!
I got the usual!
ROASTED VEGETABLES & FETA WRAP
A whole wheat and flaxseed tortilla filled with roasted vegetables, caramelized onions, tomato, feta, lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette.
So good! Someone decided they needed dessert!!
BROWNIE BOWL
A warm Oreo® brownie and vanilla ice cream, topped with a rich fudge sauce and finished with whipped cream.
OMG, it was the best thing ever!!!!!!! Totally worth it!!
Thanksgiving!!
I woke up and contemplated working out but I was so hungry! I made a nice breakfast instead!
I made an omelet with mozzarella cheese and an Arnold’s Sandwich Thin with apple and spray butter! Yum!!
I was really tired so I brought this baby out.
I mixed some with water and now I am super awake! This stuff is crack! Love it!
Okay, I better go finish getting ready to head home! My whole family gets to meet Daisy! Yay! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!! Eat lots of pumpkin pie!

So cool you got to see the parade blow ups!! What a neat experience.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Way to eat a nice power breakfast before hand, rather than starving yourself all day until the feast (like some people do). I had TONS of coffee this morning too, it’s necessary on Thanksgiving! And on most days….haha

I love the pics of the balloons. One of my dreams is to watch the Macy’s Parade in person. Cheesy but since I watch it on TV every year, I feel like I need to see it live just once.
Hope you and Daisy had a great Thanksgiving with your family!
