A few days ago I was sitting at work and got a big box filled with pizza and pizza crust! I knew exactly what I would be having for dinner on Monday night. The pizza was sent to me by a company called Clean Cravings.
They sent 4 different products:
- Rosemary Just Crust Minis
- Just Crust Minis
- Just Crusts
- Perfectly Pesto Pizza
About Clean Cravings (from the website):
Clean Cravings makes products with only natural, whole ingredients – using organic whenever possible. No artificial, man-made anything. Gluten-free, vegan and no trans fats – all without sacrificing taste.
Easy to prepare and made without wheat, gluten, dairy, casein, yeast, soy, corn, peanuts or refined sugar – our creations are perfect for people complying with Anti-Inflammatory, Gluten Free Casein Free (GFCF), Elimination or Detox diets, those living with food intolerances or those just seeking supreme wellness.
My roommate and I decided to make some personal sized pizzas with the Just Crust Minis.
They are gluten-free, certified vegan, soy, dairy, and yeast free, contain no trans-fat, and are all-natural.
One crust is just 160 calories, has 3 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of protein. 290 mg of sodium is pretty low for a pizza as well. I really love the short ingredient list:
The plain Just Crust Minis have almost the same nutritional stats as the Rosemary.
I bought some organic mushrooms, Italian Herb sauce, and vegan mozzarella cheese for the pizzas.
The crusts were a pretty good size!
We made some pizzas with mushrooms, some with broccoli, mushrooms, peppers, and cheese, and some with just sauce!
We cooked them in the oven at 425 degrees for about 12 minutes.
They looked and smelled delicious! I put 2 of the pizzas on my plate and walked over to the table. Then this happened……
Very sad
It slid right off my plate! It might be a good thing because I didn’t want to eat all three pizzas in the first place! Two was definitely plenty but I tend to eat things just because they are there.
My new plate:
I also had a side salad and Michelob Ultra.
The pizzas were delicious! The crust was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside just the way I like it. The vegan cheese was pretty good too!
The pizza was so good that I wanted it again last night for dinner!
I decided to try out the Perfectly Pesto Pizza.
It was 300 calories for just half of the pizza. Unfortunately the pizza was kind of small so I ate pretty much the whole thing.
I made a kale salad for the side.
I loved this pizza as well! The thick layer of pesto gave it a delicious flavor. It also contained pine nuts, mushrooms, and my own peppers and vegan cheese. Next time I would cut half and put the rest away because 600 calories and 720 mg of sodium is a lot for a small pizza. I wasn’t feeling too good last night so I didn’t care about the stats since pizza is my favorite food ever! It definitely makes me feel better when a cold is coming on!
Clean Cravings also makes a Very Veggie Pizza which I would love to try next! I also plan to toast some of my extra crusts and make pita chips for hummus! If you are interested in Clean Cravings, you can purchase them online here. You can also follow them on twitter @CleanCravings.

YUM!!! I really love pizza. All kinds of pizza at All times of the day.
It would be great to be able to have a healthier type pizza to be able to make at home. My husband and I have been making pita pizzas and they are good but nothing beats a good delivery or frozen pizza!
