I want to start off the post by reminding everyone to enter my Big S Farms Salsa Giveaway! All you have to do is leave a comment here to win a free jar of salsa or hot sauce! You can also e-mail me a recipe containing salsa or hot sauce for the chance to win the grand prize of 3 salsas and 3 hot sauces from Big S Farms! I only received 2 recipes so far so there is a high chance of winning right now!
I made use of my wonderful Big S Farms salsa with dinner last night! I went to spin class after work and then decided to make some leftover Mexican from Monday night! I started off with my favorite drink ever…Bacardi Razz and Fuze!
I highly recommend this to anyone who likes a low calorie fruity cocktail! You can barely taste the rum! It can be dangerous
I heated up my leftover brown rice and corn to start dinner.
Along with some black beans!
Best part yet…SPONGEBOB EDAMAME!!
There are single serving portions inside the bag! So great!
I added some salt and heated up 1 serving in the microwave.
I also made a salad to go with al of the toppings.
I used my Hot Big S Farms Salsa as dressing! Delicious!
I combined everything with some whole grain tortilla chips to make an amazing meal! Just as good as Monday night!
For dessert I had a few pieces of Xocai chocolate! Delicious and perfect for my sweet tooth!
I came home to lots of packages! I’ll briefly show you what they were but will do full reviews as I try each thing!
The first package was from Simply Scrumptous Gourmet Cookies and Brownies!
It was a box of heaven!
Fat-Free donuts, cookies, and muffins! I already tried one of the donuts and it was delicious! I am sure the box will be gone by the end of the weekend so I will let you know more once I try everything!!
The next package was from Funky Monkey Snacks!
There were 4 flavors of freeze dried fruits!
- Bananamon
- Carnival mix
- Jivealime
- Purple Funk
I tried the banana about a year ago and loved it so I am looking forward to reviewing the other flavors too!
The next box was from Cedar’s Mediterranean Snacks! They sent me tons of amazing dips, hummus, pita chips, and wraps to try! Perfect for me since I eat hummus and wraps every day of my life!
- Fresh Bruschetta
- Roasted Garlic Salsa
- Cucumber Garlic Tzatziki
- Roasted Red Pepper Tzatziki
That’s not all!!!
- Artichoke Spinach Hummus
- Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
- Heavenly Spiced Hummus
And….
Whole Wheat Wraps and Garlic Pita Chips!! YUMMM!! I feel like I should have a party with all these different dips to try!! So fun!
The next package was from FullBar!
It contained 2 Fullbars and 2 packets of Aquafull! The website says they can help you lose weight if you follow these instructions:
Simply eat FullBar with an 8-ounce glass of water 30 minutes before your 2 biggest meals of the day. For added fullness and flavor, drink Aquafull with your FullBar. By meal time, you’ll eat less and your hunger will be completely satisfied.
I will test this out next time I plan on eating a big meal! I think I would rather save the calories of the bar and enjoy my meals as they are but I guess it is worth a try! I’m sure they will make a wonderful snack either way!
The next package was from Larabar!!
A cute shirt and 16 different bars to try!! I rocked my shirt all night!
I got a few more packages too but I will save them for tomorrow so that I do not bore you too much!
Today…
I tried to wake up for the Shred since I have not done it in a week but hitting my snooze button seemed like a much more appealing activity! Maybe tomorrow? I need to get back in the routine!
I got to work and decided to switch up breakfast again today! I used to eat oatmeal every day but now I have so many tempting foods to try so I am going to change it every day!
A few weeks ago I received 3 boxes of granola from Zoe Foods! I walk past them every day in my bedroom and finally decided to pop them open!
They have tons of health benefits:
- 100% Natural
- Whole Grains
- Protein Rich
- High Fiber
- 100% DV Omega-3s
From the website:
100% Delicious. 100% Nutritious. 100% Natural.
Whoever heard of combining whole grains, ground flaxseed, and just the right sweetness to create delicious, crispy-crunchy granola clusters? Every serving of Zoe’s Granola naturally provides fiber, protein, omega-3s, and iron. Zoe’s Granolas contain no cholesterol, are low in saturated fat and sodium, and are wheat and dairy free. Enjoy with milk, soy milk, yogurt, fruit, as a topping, hot cereal or snack right out of the box!
I tried out each flavor while packing lunch last night and brought some today for breakfast!
The first box I opened was the Cinnamon Raisin!
I poured myself a little handful to sample. It was delicious! It had a wonderful cinnamon flavor with huge granola chunks and raisins in every bite!
Each serving contains:
115% Daily Value ALA Omega-3 (1500mg)
7g Fiber
7g Protein
Ground Flaxseed
Wheat Free (Contains gluten from oats.)
Low Sodium
No Trans Fatty Acids
Weight Watchers Points: 3
Check out the nutrition facts:
Ingredients:
Zōe’s Mix (whole rolled oats, ground flaxseed, dry roasted soybeans), Evaporated Cane Juice, Rice Crisps (rice flour, evaporated cane juice, malt extract, soy lecithin, sea salt, rice extract), Glycerated Raisins (raisins, glycerine, miglyol), Soy Crisps (rice flour, soy protein isolate, malt extract, calcium carbonate), Honey, Inulin, Soy Protein Isolate, Oat Fiber, Molasses, Canola Oil, Cinnamon, Baking Soda, and Vitamin E (mixed tocopherols – a natural antioxidant). So healthy and delicious! I plan to try it over my oats, in yogurt, and as cereal!
The next flavor I tried was the Honey Almond!
I loved the huge crunchy chunks again but it was lacking in the almond department a bit.
It had a few tiny slithers of almonds but the granola was so delicious that it did not matter too much! It had a wonderful honey flavor that was not too sweet.
7g Fiber
8g Protein
Ground Flaxseed
Wheat Free (Contains gluten from oats.)
Low Sodium
No Trans Fatty Acids
Weight Watchers Points: 3
Ingredients:
The 3rd and final taste test was Cranberries Currants!
Once again, amazing! It was filled with dried cranberries and little currants! This would be wonderful on top of salad!
Each serving contains:
7g Fiber
7g Protein
Ground Flaxseed
Wheat Free (Contains gluten from oats.)
Low Sodium
No Trans Fatty Acids
Weight Watchers Points: 3
I decided to bring the Cranberries Currants for breakfast today to go with my yogurt! I measured out a serving (3/4 cup) since it is so easy for me to go overboard with granola!
So good!!! The granola and Barney Butter made a wonderful addition to the yogurt! I have to admit that I did not love the Vanilla Oikos too much. It was my first time trying it and I thought the texture was a little thin and the flavor was weird. I like the Vanilla Chobani a lot better! The granola and Barney butter still made the breakfast very enjoyable! I also have Honey and Blueberrie Oikos to try so I will keep an open mind!
I went to the gym and did 29 minutes on the elliptical during my lunch hour. I will not be going after work today because I have an exciting blogger cocktail event! It is hosted by Always Infinity and will include health, wellness, and lifestyle bloggers. There will be drinks, hors d’oeuvres and complimentary spa treatments! Can’t wait!!
I ate lunch at my desk after the gym.
- Boar’s Head Low Salt Turkey
- Boar’s Head Low Salt Ham
- Alpine Lace White American
- Tribe Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
- Mustard
- Lettuce
- Cucumbers
- Whole Wheat Wrap
With some Newman’s Own BBQ Soy Crisps on the side!
Perfect lunch as always!
I brought a Simply Scrumptious Fat Free Chocolate Fudge cookie for a snack so I will let you know how it is tomorrow!
This post took me about 4 hours so I am off to go catch up on e-mails and blogs!! My eyes hurt! See ya tomorrow!

should you use supplements without having any knowledge about what it in fact does with your body it’s kinda scary…I guess it’s nothing wrong with using them if you really know what your doing.
