I’m sure most of you have heard about Dave’s Killer Bread since it is popping up all over blog land. Everyone has been raving about it so I was very excited when I received 2 loaves to try myself.
I received the Killer Powerseed Bread and the Killer Good Seed Bread.
I tried the Killer Good Seed Bread on Monday night for dinner.
About:
- 3g Fiber
- 500mg Omega-3 ALA
- 5g Protein
- Certified Organic
- 27oz Loaf Size
130 calories for 1 slice of bread is typically more than I am used to but I don’t mind since the ingredients are wonderful and the slices are huge and delicious!
INGREDIENTS: Organic whole wheat (organic cracked whole wheat, organic whole wheat flour), water, organic unbleached enriched wheat flour (organic wheat flour, niacin, iron, ascorbic acid, folic acid, thiamin, riboflavin, enzymes), organic good seed mix (organic whole ground flaxseeds, organic sunflower seeds, organic whole flaxseeds, organic unhulled sesame seeds, organic black sesame seeds, organic poppy seeds), organic evaporated cane juice, organic wheat gluten, organic steel cut oats, organic molasses, yeast, sea salt, organic oat fiber.
I added some Better n’ Peanut Butter and Crofters Organic Superfruit spread.
Perfect dinner! The bread was so soft and I loved that it was twice the size as my usual bread. It was very filling!
I tried the Killer Powerseed Bread for lunch yesterday.
Â
100% Whole Grain Powerseed Bread to the rescue with 5 grams of fiber, 450mg Omega-3 from flax seeds, and fruit juice in place of added sugar. And it’s delicious.
- 100% whole grain
- 19g of whole grains per slice
- 5g of fiber per slice
- Fruit juice sweetened
- Made with organic grains
- 27oz loaf size
INGREDIENTS: Organic whole wheat flour, organic cracked whole wheat, water, seed mix (organic flax, organic ground flaxseed, organic sunflower, organic unhulled sesame, organic pumpkin, organic black sesame, and organic poppy seeds), natural fruit juices (peach, pineapple, and pear), organic vital wheat gluten, organic oat fiber, organic oats, yeast, sea salt, organic rice bran extract, cultured wheat.
I think it is great that they use natural fruit juice instead of sugar! I wish every bread company did this! This bread was just as wonderful as the Powerseed Bread.
I made some more peanut butter and jelly!

Oh my gosh! These breads look so drool-worthy! I love any kind of really seedy bread. The Powerseed looks so amazing, and so does the Nuts and Grain.
