Hello everyone!. I ad a crazy Friday night so I will recap back to yesterday!
Breakfast was plain oats with cinnamon and the best trail mix ever!
It was Tierra Farms of course!
It had chocolate chips, raisins, sunflower seeds, pepitas, cashews, cranberries, and dried apples. Doesn’t get much better than that!
I had some green tea on the side. The mix was so perfect in my oats!
For lunch I sat outside since it was finally hot out! I had one of my Synergy Kombuchas that I got at Whole Foods the night before! I still need to go back and get more! I hope they don’t end the 2 for 5.00 sale!
I brought a French Meadows tortilla with Laughing Cow cheese, mustard, lettuce, and Smart Deli turkey!
With whole grain crackers on the side. I am loving those wraps!
I snacked on chocolate and an apple later in the afternoon.
There were also pumpkin muffins and cranberry cinnamon muffins in the kitchen for people to take. I tour off 2 of the muffin tops and devoured them. No pictures but they were amazinggg!
After work I went upstairs and got highlights and a blowout. Here is a pic!
Yeah, definitely the only good thing about my job/ I got home around 8:30 starving for dinner. The boy was not there so I made something quick and easy.
Kashi Chicken Florentine-grilled chicken breast with spinach, sweet red peppers and baby portobello mushrooms. It also had Kashi 7 whole grains & sesame with orzo pilaf and garlic white wine sauce topped with shredded cheddar cheese. Yum!!
I loved it! It was delicious for being a frozen diner. It also had 22 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber!
I wanted salad and some extra veggies with it so I made frozen broccoli. I dipped it in Sonny & Joe’s Babaganoush.
Delicious 5 minute dinner! I would definitely buy the Kashi entree again.
I had some Holey Donuts and Newman’s Own dark chocolate for dessert.
As if that wasn’t enough food, I went and made another donut! They were so good and I wasn’t thinking. I only had the top layer with all the hot apples and cinnamon but still not necessary!
I was not going to go out because of the rain but then my friend Kaity asked if I wanted to come out in the city with her and her friends. The rain stopped and I did not feel like sitting home by myself so I went. We went to a few bars in the Upper East Side.
All of us!
It was a lot of fun. I drank 3 shots and 3 beers too many because I was pretty hungover this morning! I decided to make the perfect hangover breakfast…eggs on a bagel!
I started out with a new drink I received the other day called Fruit 2 Day. I received 4 flavors to try from Single Edition.com.
- Mango Peach
- Cherry Grape
- Stawberry Orange
- Pineapple Banana
Each drink contains 2 servings of fruit, is all natural, has no added sugar, and is 110 to 120 calories.
I tried the Mango Peach before spin class yesterday morning.
It was delicious! It was similar to a smoothie but with real fruit chunks in every sip. It was the perfect pre-gym snack to give me a little pick me up and get my fruit in for the day.
This morning I tried the Strawberry Orange.
Very good! It was so refreshing first thing in the morning.
For breakfast I made 3 egg whites with Laughing Cow Cheese on a French Meadow hemp bagel.
Perfect breakfast to cure a hangover!
I must have been exhausted from last night and from the entire week because I got back in bed after breakfast and slept till 4:30 in the afternoon! I guess I can’t handle as much alcohol as I used to!
Not sure what I am doing tonight yet but it is already time for dinner so I am off! Tomorrow I am going to Philly to see grandmom. Be back Monday!
