I did it! I got myself out of bed this morning for the gym. It was so freezing and dark outside when my alarm went off at 6 am. I went back and forth in my head about whether to get up or not but I knew I would be so mad at myself if I missed another day.
I had a Cocoavia bar before I left the house as a pre-workout snack. It has a mix of carbs and protein so it gives me a little energy. It also holds me over until I get to work. I really cannot workout when I am hungry.
I got there around 6:30 and did 50 minutes on the elliptical. I did the interval setting which was 2 minutes at level 1 and 2 minutes at level 10. I stretched for a few minutes after and then got ready for work. I spotted my kickboxing teacher training someone so I made sure to look nice when I left the gym! I don’t think he saw me though! I know I am pathetic but he really only sees me all sweaty so this was my chance!
It is really nice to have my workout over with now. I definitely have more energy at night though. I felt like I could have passed out while I was on the elliptical. The only good thing is that I do not have the option to stop my workout early in the morning. The subway to get to work is right across the street from the gym so I have to stay or else I would get to work too early! I should try to get back into this morning habit more often.
I got to work at 9 and immediately made Archer Farms Blueberry Almond Oats because I was so starving from working out.

I had a tiny bit of plain oats left from the week so I added some in. I also added half a banana.

I added some skim milk in after heating it up. I also made a cup of Awake Tea because I am so sleepy now!

This oatmeal is so good. The almonds are tiny pieces so you get a nice crunch in every bite. Of course the blueberries and bananas make it perfect too!
If I wanted to be really good I could go back to the gym at lunch. I am wearing strecth pants and a tank top under my sweater so it would be really easy. I probably should to make up for the last couple of days but we will see. I am pretty sore from doing the elliptical at level 10!
Oh wait, it is snowing! Now I may stay inside. We will see!

PB really does make it better. I need to start adding it to my oats more! It also keeps me full longer! I just have to buy a container to keep in the work fridge. Hopefully no one eats it
