Dry Falafel and YOUTrailMix!

Breakfast this morning was Archer Farms Blueberry Almond Oatmeal with a banana and skim milk.

I also had a Vitamin Water. It is much easier to drink than water when hungover!

After a few scoops of oatmeal, I realized something was missing!

Barney Butter! Much better :)

I went to the gym at lunch and did 33 minutes on the elliptical. I just beat the horrible rain thankfully!

I have no food in the house other than chips and bars right now so I stopped at the health food store again and got a fun sandwich!

Sorry about these pictures! I had to take them under my desk because people kept walking by!

I decided on the Falafel Sandwich: Whole Wheat Pita, Chick Peas, Cabbage, Pickles, Sesame Paste, Lemon Juice, Soy Oil, Onions, Garlic, Parsley, Hot Peppers, Salt, Spices.

I honestly was not impressed by this one. The falafel was very dry! The only thing that made it flavorful was the pickles and hot peppers. There was a dip on the side that I thought was hummus but it was very liquidy and thin when I opened it. It did not have much flavor either so I threw it out.

I ate it all since I was starving but I would not pick this one again. The hummus/guacamole sandwich was much better last night!

I also snacked on some Mr. Krispers Nacho Baked Rice Krisps!

I loved these! It was like eating a healthified Dorito!

I needed chocolate after so I turned to my You Trail Mix!

I brought the Chocolate Trails: Organic Peanuts, Pecans, Cherries, Mini Pretzels, Semisweet Chocolate Chips, Milk Chocolate Covered Raisins, Raisins, Dextrin

I originally just picked out the chocolate pieces in the mix to satisfy my sweet tooth. I was going to save the nuts for later in the afternoon but I ended up eating everything at once. I have issues leaving open bags of food in my desk without eating them!

This mix was very good! I love the idea of being able to customize trail mix, cereal, granola, etc. One bag has 220 calories, 13 grams of fat, 35 grams of carbs, 4 grams of fiber, and 4 grams of protein. This should hold me over till dinner tonight!

After work I am trying a new gym class with Dori called The Nalini Method! I love trying out all these different classes! I will let you know how it is tomorrow!

Hooray for posts about falafel! (we used our leftovers last night) I love when I check all the blogs and someone has shared food (or life) experiences as I do! I'm sorry your falafel was dry, that is a letdown :(

But those Mr Krispers look so yummy… I am becoming totally hooked on different flavors of rice crackers (Trader Joe's makes my favorites so far)..>I'll have to try these!
