Hello! Only 3 more hours to go!! I love half days! I have a nice little afternoon planned that involves Whole Foods and The Lite Choice! Can’t wait!
I did some cooking last night for dinner! The night started out with a glass of wine. By the end of the night, that glass of wine turned into an entire bottle. Oops!
I started dinner off my making a Massaged Kale Salad.
I spread olive oil all over the kale leaves. I then massaged half of an avocado on the leaves. I topped the salad with the other half of the avocado. Yum!
I then cooked some more veggies to top my salad with (mushrooms, squash, and peppers).
I had some leftover brown rice and corn so I heated some up to add to my salad.
I also steamed some broccoli!
I topped everything over the kale salad with some mozzarella cheese!
I know it is pretty similar to the salads I always make but I could never get sick of that!
I was craving chocolate for dessert! No surprise there. The boy bought me this bar and said it was the best thing ever.
Check this thing out.
It was heaven. I guess I would compare it to a Twix. It had soft chocolate and peanut butter on the inside. MMM. I had half of that and drank some more wine.
A few hours later, the boy requested banana soft serve. We put 4 frozen bananas in the blender. Nothing happened. Someone decided it would be smart to put a plastic spoon in the blender to mix the bananas! For once it was not me who made the kitchen mistake!
Our beautiful banana soft serve had plastic pieces stuck in it 
His excuse for choosing a plastic spoon was, “drunk!” I guess a bottle of wine will do that. I really just need a food processor!
We were determined to have our bananas so we stuck 3 more in the freezer for a half hour. They were just barely frozen but we made it anyway. We added some chocolate chips and whipped cream. Finally at midnight, I had my banana soft serve!
I think we finished the night off with a shot of Bailey’s! Daisy is an alcoholic too!
It is fun to pretend it is the weekend every single night! At least tonight it technically is!

I always make my soft serve in a blender and I never have a problem as long as I add some water or almond milk. You just need a liquid and it will blend right up!

That salad looks so good lol. When I make the soft serve, I use a splash off FF milk to get things going =)

I’ve totally done that before, put a spoon in the mixer (not blender though) and it scared the crap out of me. I wish I could say I was drunk, but I was stone sober.
That Wispa bar sounds intriguing. I’ve been into the Lindt’s 85% cacao chocolate lately. Man is it good!

Mickey is obsessed with alcohol! whenever i drink it she tries to jump up on my lap! and yesterday i took her to the liquor store with me and she was off smelling everything… weird!

Poor plastic spoon! Glad you were still able to have your treat!! I have still never had banana soft serve since all frozen fruit ends up being stolen from me for protein smoothie purposes!

I like to drink and have fun. I am not going to change myself for others but thanks for your opinion.
Everytime I see “massage” in reference to food (like massaged kale), it makes me LOL! haha mature.
I don’t have a food processor, either, so I haven’t had the ‘life changing’ banana ‘Ice Cream’!
I think I’m gonna cave and get one….if nothing else, just for that.

No lie, I put a wooden spoon in a blender once while it was running! I didn’t think twice, just stuck it in there. It broke the blades and I had to buy a new blender.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I’ve been reading your blog for awhile now and never commented, and for some reason the spoon in the blender prompted me too, haha. I’ve done that while making hummus, with a rubber spatula. Not pretty. Have a happy thanksgiving!

My favorite wine changes all of the time because I’ll buy one too much and get sick of it! It was Woodbridge Riesling for a while but now I am in a red wine phase haha.

I love Wispa bars- they don’t have PB in the UK though. Lol, I’ve done similar things when drunk- I stuck a pencil in a fan once (note: never do this!)
