Delicious Japanese Dinner & Fruit Loops!!

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday! I am putting off packing as much as possible so I am going to blog instead!!

Yesterday’s breakfast was Kashi Honey Sunshine Oats with Cinnamon Puffins and Barney Butter!!!

Puffins and Barney Butter might be the best combo ever! About an hour later I had another Barney Butter packet. This guy I work with looked at me like I was insane when I was sucking it from the packet! He just does not know what he is missing!

I also snacked on some blueberries and strawberries. I could not get full all morning!

During lunch I went to the Westside Market. They had fun samples of Smart Pop crackers with all of these dips. I got feta and roasted red pepper dip! I also got a goat cheese chunk!

Delicious!! I brought my usual lunch of a whole wheat bagel with P.B.Loco Cocoa Banana Peanut Butter and blueberry butter!

With Michael Season’s cheese curls on the side!! They were exactly like Cheetos! Yum!

I got off work at 4 so I made myself go to the gym!! I did not go all week and felt so yucky. I did 50 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the treadmill. Now I just need to get myself there today! We will see!

For dinner, the boy and I went to Chikurin Japanese in Forest Hills.

We started with some Saki bombs of course!!

We had about 3 or 4 throughout the meal! I was feeling good after!!

We split some edamame!

I got delicious miso soup.

Along with a salad with really good dressing! Not sure what it was exactly!

I got Salmon Teryaki for my main course!

It was delicious!! It melted in my mouth and it was such a huge piece!! I loved all the brean sprouts underneath!!

The boy got the Beef Teryaki!

I tried some and it was amazing!! So juicy and delicious!! We would definitely go back there!

We walked over to The Lite Choice after!!!

I got 1/2 original and 1/2 brownie with cookie and peanut butter crunchies on top! Amazing!!!

We got home and had some drinks of Vodka and Fuze with strawberries and blueberries!

We watched Mall Cop but I passed out an hour before it was over!! I can never stay awake on Friday nights!!

This morning we woke up and had some cereal.

Cinnamon Puffins, MyWayCereal Missy’s Mix 1, and blueberries! Oh, I also stole some Fruit Loops from the boy’s bowl!! So fun!

I had to have a 2nd bowl!!

This was Cinnamon Puffins, Missy’s Mix #2, and a few more Fruit Loops!!

I better go start packing now! I have to go pick up some boxes from the store! Hopefully I get a workout somewhere in the day because I have a barbecue later! I’m sure I will be eating hot dogs and hamburgers!!

Have a good one!

I love Westside Market! Have you tried peanut butter puffins? I like them even better than the cinnamon ones, although they are much more addictive so sometimes I eat them plain from the box :)

  • hey! your blog seems a little bit messy in my internet explorer 8. I’m confident it’s just a matter of CSS compatibility (it’s easy to fix), and it’s a shame since I see a really good blog. keep up the good work!

  • Mmmmm … fruit loops. My favorite. Other than that, the only thing that looked appetizing was the miso soup. Thanks for sharing.
