It is another one of those mornings. I had my alarm set for 6:30 because I was supposed to do a secret shop before work. Next thing I know, I pop out of bed and the clock says 7:40! I rush around like a maniac to try to make it to work on time! Turns out the dial was over one slot to the left. Silly me!

It might be a good thing I overslept because the shop was at McDonald’s and I would have had to get a breakfast sandwich and hash browns! I don’t think I would have been able to resist and probably would have felt gross all day. My oats are much better!

I am still feel half asleep so I just made a cup of Tazo Awake Tea.

I also made a bowl of Kashi Honey Sunshine Oats with half a banana.

Once again I added too much milk! These oats definitely have much less than usual packets!

They were yummy but I am not feeling as satisfied as usual. I think from now on I will mix Kashi oats with plain oats to give the bowl more volume. I may have another banana in a little while if I still feel hungry!

Back to Yesterday…….

After work I met the boy at the gym. I was going to get him the 2-week guest pass for $20.00. They told me I had to print it at home beforehand or else I would have to pay $15.00 for one day! We were considering running home and printing a pass but eventually the Membership Consultant told us he was not going to make us go all the way home. He let him in for free! Yay!
We did 20 minutes on the treadmill to warm up. We then took Cardio Kickboxing class. It was great last night! The boy loved it so much more then spin and said he would take the class every day if it was an option! Between the treadmill and the class, I burned 440 calories. Fun!
We got home and I had 2 packages waiting for me!

The first was a Luna White Chocolate Macadamia bar!!

I have been wanting to try this flavor so I am very excited! A product review is on its way!

The next box contained 2 bottles of Country Bob’s Sauce!!

See the bottom of this post for a giveaway!!
I immediately had to taste the sauce of course!

I poured some on a piece of zucchini since we were in the process of slicing them up for dinner!

I thought the sauce was very similar to A-1 but with a delicious spice and tang to it! I think it will be delicious if I make steak or burgers one day!

We continued to make a lovely dinner. We bought a bunch of ingredients Sunday night and planned to just mix them all together. I started off with salads.

We also made 2 bags of brown rice.

We heated up some Perdue Grilled Chicken Strips and added Balsamic dressing for flavor.

We also boiled some string beans!

And the best part yet…tons of veggies!!! Squash, Zucchini, Red and Green Peppers, and Mushrooms!

We added Balsamic dressing, salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning to the veggies!
We also added Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper to the string beans!

Everything turned out delicious!

Here is my plate:

The veggies had a delicious flavor to them. We finished off every single thing on the table except for the rice! Yumm!

After dinner we had a few drinks and then he brought out the famous Sugar-Free pudding!!

Happy Face Pudding! Yummm! I love that 1 serving is only 35 calories so eating half the bowl with him is still only 70! It seems like it should be so much more since it tastes so good! I could eat it every night!!

Oh Miss Missy, How do I count the ways of how I would use and abuse such a sauce. I would probably roast some potato wedges and use the sauce as a dipper. I have never had this sauce before but Im sure I would find other unique ways to use it! Perhaps as a condiment to my PopChip Chicken! and you are already on my blogroll

I keep seeing this sauce everywhere! Haven’t gotten to try yet, but my favorite uses (that I’ve seen on blogs) are on top of veggie burgers or steamed veggies. :)

My mom and I used to make a great one (that I can’t have anymore) of tofu, portobello mushrooms and onions. We used to use Teriyaki but I’d try this stuff out!

I’d use it with tofu and chicken- probably more chicken, though. I make a mean phillie cheese steak and BBQ goes great with the veggies!

Ill link in my next post!

  14. Missy says:

Ashley T: I belong to a few Mystery Shopping companies and they assigned me McDonald’s today. I was going to rate the customer service, cleanliness, and taste of the food. I will probably do it another time since it is a nice excuse to eat McDonalds’s :)
