Last night after work I met my friend Kaity and the boy at a Japanese restaurant in Forest Hills called Chikuran. I love it there because all the sushi is only $2.99 for 6 rolls!! Great deal! The atmosphere is not as nice as some Japanese restaurants but it is fine for such a great price!
We got there and ordered some Saki bombs!
And some edamame!!
I was very excited about this meal because the boy always refused to try Japanese food. I knew he would like it so I made him come! He LOVED the edamame and ordered an entire 2nd bowl!
We all got some miso soup next!
Another Saki bomb!!!!!!!
Then some salad with amazing ginger dressing!!
The boy ordered the Beef Teryaki Bento Box. I figured it would be good so that he could try a bunch of different things.
He loved the beef and shrimp tempura but really did not like the California Roll that came on the side. I ate a few pieces of his roll and some broccoli and sweet potato tempura! So good!
I ordered 2 rolls for myself.
An Alaskan roll and Salmon Avocado roll! Both were delicious!! I also had one of Kaity’s Spicy Tuna rolls!
More Saki!!!!
Kaity and me!
We left the restaurant extremely full and pretty tipsy!! We all had about 4 beers and 4 shots!!
We got home and drank more!!
I had a rum and Fuze!
A little later we all made ice cream sundaes!!
It was Cookie Dough ice cream, Banana, Hot Fudge, and a crumbled Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich!! Totally not necessary but we were wasted so what can I say?!
The omelet was huge today but I ate the whole thing!! I ate only some of the home fries because they were mushy today!
Luckily he made Sugar-Free Vanilla last night while we were drinking! I decided to heat up a Double Chocolate Dream Vitatop to mix in!
Delicious!! I have to stop eating now so I can save my appetite for the BLOGGER DINNER IN 3 1/2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!
Mom on the Run’s Popchips Giveaway!! (But do not enter because of course I need to win this one!!)
