Cheesy Tuna, Glenny’s Brownie & Ocean Spring Crispy Snack Reviews!

I went to the gym at lunch today since I will not be able to go after work. I did 26 minutes on the elliptical. On my walk there, I saw Law & Order being filmed! I got so excited since I have been watching it lately. Yes, I’ll admit it…I left the gym a little early so I could stalk the set. I don’t think I saw anyone from the show but it was still cool seeing all of the trailers and crew!

I had a tuna wrap for lunch after the gym!

  • Cedar’s Whole Wheat Wrap
  • Mustard
  • Tribe Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
  • Garlic & Herb Laughing Cow Cheese
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Tuna
  • Lettuce

With Honey Mustard Pretzel Crisps on the side! The wrap was especially good today! I think the addition of mozzarella cheese and Laughing Cow made it delicious!

Dessert was a 100 calorie Glenny’s Peanut Butter brownie.

This was not bad for only 100 calories!

It has a lot of health benefits too:

  • 75% Organic
  • All Natural
  • 7g Fiber
  • 4g Protein
  • No Trans Fats
  • No Hydrogenated Oils

Perfect little snack for my chocolate cravings! I could not really taste the peanut butter chips but the soft chocolaty brownie made me happy.

I also have another fruity snack on hand in case I feel like munching again! I have actually been eating these almost every day here and there but just grab a handful without taking a picture!

They are called Ocean Spring Harvest Of Heaven Mixed Fruit.

I also received Mixed Veggies to try!

I first tried the Mixed Fruits!

It was delicious! It contained bananas, apples, mango, papaya, jackfruit, starfruit, and melon. The mix was crunchy and sweet and perfect for a low calorie snack. It is 114 calories per serving and there are 5 servings in the container. The only other ingredients in the mix are glucose, salt and vegetable oil. This might be my only complaint since I know that most other dried fruits have no added ingredients.

I tried the Mixed Veggies next!

I immediately loved the vibrant colors of the veggies! The veggies included sweet potato, green beans, pumpkin, okra, taro, carrot, and sweet pepper. They were delicious! I actually liked these even more than the fruit. They make a great side to my sandwiches for lunch and with dinner at night!

I am about to go munch on some fruit now! I need it to hold me over till my blogger dinner tonight! It is being hosted my Eggland’s Best so we get breakfast for dinner! There will also be a special guest named Barbara Seelig Brown. She is the host of the regional NJ cooking show “The New Stress Free Cooking Show” and has written several “Stress Free Cooking” cookbooks.

I am looking forward to speaking with her and meeting more fellow bloggers!

Elise: Sorry about the shadows. I always try to get rid of them but have no clue how. I can never understand how people have such perfect pictures. I will try to step back and zoom in maybe?

oohh…I love Law & Order! I'm so jealous of you living where they film!

I've had that brownie before and I agree, it's pretty good.

How exciting about Law & Order!! Not very many exciting things happen here in NC, but they're actually filming a movie called "Main Street" with Orlando Bloom & Colin Firth right around the corner from where I work. It's fun to have stuff like that happen where you live!

    Your wrap looks delicious…

    Hi Missy,
Thanks for the review. The glucose is actually not something added. We use glucose liquid to dehydrate ingredients and then vacuum fry them in canola oil. Therefore there is very little glucose left. The salt is added to boost flavor.

Hi Elise: There is nothing hydrogenated and of course no animal sources. Let us know if you want to review these snacks.

Meh, I have had those 100 calorie brownies and I remember thinking I could have those 100 calories back and just eat 100 calories’ worth of something real. They’re def. convenient for a 100 snack tho!
