Sorry that I have not posted in a few days. I arrived at Maryland on Saturday Night and from there it has been a nightmare!!
I got there and met my friend at Hooters. Yes, I used to be a Hooters Girl.

That’s me in the right back in the day. I worked there for 2 1/2 years in college. It was interesting to say the least.
I had a beer there and then went to another bar with friends. I only had maybe 2 more beers and a shot. I stuck to beer knowing that I would be driving later so I did not want to be too tipsy. When it was time to go back to my girlfriend’s house, I got in the car and immediately drove into a median in the parking lot!
I really did not think I was drunk or anything. It was so dark out and the medians were small and so hard to see. I got my car into a parking spot and both tires on the left side immediately busted.

My friend came and picked me up and told me the rims looked dented as well. I left the car there, not knowing if it would be towed or not overnight. Both my mom and sister have AAA but I was not able to use their accounts! I told AAA that my parents are in Jamaica and I am desperate but they would not budge.
My friend and I stopped at 7-11 because I had not had dinner yet. I got a turkey sandwich on whole wheat. I think there was mayo in there because it was extra delicious. Sorry, very blurry. I was a little shook up!!
Sunday morning, my friend who I was staying with (Katie) had to work all day. Her boyfriend was also out so I was planning on taking a cab to my car to make sure it was still there. The cab called to say they were outside. I did not think it could get any worse until I could not find my car keys!!!
The cab sat outside for 15 minutes while I dumped out all my bags. They were nowhere to be found. The cab left and I texted Katie to see if she saw the keys in her car. She said no and was not able to check for another 2 hours. So I sat in her apartment just praying that they were in there.
I searched her fridge for some food. Everything was pretty much very unhealthy and processed. I found some turkey so I was able to make a sandwich.
Finally at 2, Katie was able to check her car. No, they were not in there. Her boyfriend came home and took me to my car so that we could check around there for the keys. We went into the supermarket across the parking lot to ask if they found anything. Nothing.
I then called Pop-A-Lock. They opened my car and I searched my trunk to see if I locked them in there. Nothing! Waste of $50.00. We decided to leave a note on my car that said, “DO NOT TOW!”
We then went to Katie’s work to check her car ourselves for the key. Nothing! We also went to Subway and I got a 6 inch Whole Wheat Sub with American cheese, turkey, lettuce, cues, sweet peppers, pickles, mustard, and oregano. Yummy.
We ended up just giving up for the day. That night we just watched movies and played Wii Mario Cart. Around midnight, we were all pretty hungry. I ate the sub at 5 so it had been a while. They decided to order Dominos!
We got 1 Medium Cheese Pizza and 1 Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. They forgot the onions and peppers on the Cheese Steak Pizza so they gave us a credit for a new one. So I may have to eat pizza again today or tomorrow!
I had 3 slices of Cheese and 1 of the Cheese steak. They were tiny pieces so it was not thattt bad. Then her boyfriend told me to try a CinnaStick. Best thing ever. Yeah I felt pretty gross eating all of that right before bed but it is really hard to eat healthy when your friends do not!
On Monday, I woke up at 9 am to call a bunch of tire places. I was starving so I wandered into the kitchen and ate a cold slice of pizza. Lovely breakfast I must say.
I called the Mazda dealership and they told me it would take 2 to 3 weeks to make a new key. I would also have to pay $75 to tow it, and out of pocket for the new wheels and tires.
I emailed my dad in Jamaica to ask him about the spare key. There is someone feeding our cats every day so I thought maybe that person could mail me the spare. My dad said they spare was locked in his office and he had the key!
I then called Pepboys and they said it would be $40 to tow it and about $100 for each tire. I decided I may have no other options. We went to my car and called Pepboys. They said they would call me and give me a time estimate of when they would tow the car. We figured we had a while so we went into the same bar from the first night to grab some lunch.
I had a Jerk Chicken salad. I also had a martini. Nothing better then drinking at 3 in the afternoon. Katie got Cream of Crab soup and a tuna melt with fries. Her boyfriend got a burger and fries. I just stared at the fries while I tried to be healthy for once this week.
The car got towed while we were eating so we went to Pepboys to get prices. Each tire would be $90. I would also have to order new rims or find my own. They also said I would need a wheel alignment but I heard that can be a few hundred dollars itself! My dad said it could wait though. Basically this all might cost me around $500. AAAH!!!
Pepboys said once I get keys, they can start the work. My parents get home from Jamaica on the 1st so I will not have the keys till the 2nd or 3rd. Basically I am stuck at Katie’s house while she works with nowhere to go. I had all these plans to go to the gym while she worked and shop but now I am stuck watching movies. Oh welllll.
Last night we had dinner at Katie’s parents house. No pictures but I had a few glasses of wine, chips and blue cheese dip, some sort of walnut cookie, salad, turkey,3 meatballs, and 1 more cookie after. Delicious Christmas leftovers.
Today Katie works till 6 so her boyfriend and I will hopefully find some rims at a junk yard so I do not have to buy brand new ones.
I had a Luna bar for breakfast. I will try to post more frequently now that I sort of got the situation fixed. Lovely vacation I am having!!

OMG this is awful I am so sorry. I was wondering where you were! Does Katie have the channel that shows workouts? It’s like a channel of exercise videos. I watch in my room wishing I had space to actually follow along.
Work is boring without you to talk to!
