Candy in the Kitchen

I just got back from my lunch break and this was in the kitchen!

Where does this random candy come from? Oh well… regular candy does not make me go crazy like chocolate and brownies do so I am fine! I did take 2 lollis just because:

I have no desire to eat them right now

I will save them for another day or give them away. Back to breakfast…

I woke up around 7:00 and was starving for some reason so I ate a Z-bar to hold me over till I got to work. The subway was awful this morning! First, I walked outside and there was an ice storm! Then I walked downstairs to the subway and there was a train just sitting there out of service. I waited about 10 or 15 minutes till it left and one finally arrived. I got to work 10 minutes late but I don’t think anyone noticed.

I made a cup of Awake tea upon arrival. I was so tired this morning, probably from the weather. I also made a lovely cup of oats:

It had bananas, cinnamon, and 1% milk. We finally got more skim milk in so I can switch back to that tomorrow and save a few calories.

During my lunch hour, I headed over to Loehmann’s in search of a Chanukah present for my dad. When he visited last week, my sister and I both decided his jacket looked like it was from the 80′s so we are looking for a nice new one for him. The entire big store only had 2 racks of men’s coats and all size XL! I will have to begin a nice little online search after blogging!

Around 1, I ate my lunch that I brought from home…

Multigrain bread, tuna, hummus, mustard, 1 slice of American Smart Beat Cheese, and lettuce:

And of course I had one of my new bags of Popchips!

I brought the Original flavor today. They are delicious! They do not taste like “healthy” chips at all. There are also so many chips in the bag for just 120 calories! There was about three this amount in the bag (I munched on a bunch around 11 out of boredom)….
