SUNDAY
Yesterday was a pretty productive day. After the exterminator was gone, I ran into the kitchen and grabbed my cereal. I had a repeat bowl from Saturday.

Cheerios with bananas and raisins with a few Apple Jacks on top!
I took a nap and then cleaned my entire apartment. I finally hung up some pictures in my room. I’ve been meaning to do that since I moved months ago! I also rearranged the whole kitchen since I had to take all the dishes out anyway for the exterminator. (I saw two roaches today so obviously he did not do such a good job!)
By the time I was done everything, I wanted a quick, easy dinner. I picked up some lunch meat and made a sandwich.

Turkey, ham, and cheese with lettuce and mustard and an Arnold’s sandwich thin. I also had some cucumbers and popchips to dip in hummus!

I had a beer too. I watched the Eagles game and relaxed the rest of the night.

Sorry..I had to put this one in too!

I am very excited that this is a short work week! Can’t wait for lots of pumpkin pie on Thursday! I’m thinking about making something to bring to my parent’s dinner but I am not sure what! It has to be something that I can transport from NY to Philly. Maybe some pumpkin cookies or brownies?
What is your favorite side dish or dessert at a Thanksgiving dinner? (Besides pumpkin pie!!)
I am hungry now thinking about this! Gotta go! Have a good Monday!

You should DEFINITELY make Orange Oatmeal Cookies! I found the recipe in the cookbook “The Healthy Kitchen” – there kinda healthy for cookies. They have orange zest, banana, coconut, and dark chocolate chips in them and are made with whole wheat flower and rolled oats. You could probably just go to the bookstore and write down the recipe or feel free to email me if you want it. Really like your blog! – Michelle

I’d say they taste like fruity cheerios. Lots of sugar but very yummy!

My favorite side dish is green bean caserole. This is the only time of year we have it so it’s a nice little treat that I devour within seconds of it reaching my plate.
You could make pumpkin cookies, or pumpkin/cheesecake bars or something like that.
