Morning! Time for a Monday and Tuesday recap! Lots of pictures but I’ll try not to make this a novel! Also some of my pictures uploaded sideways so I’m sorry in advance! No clue how to fix it!Oh well!
Monday I had a bowl of oats for breakfast. It contained a packet of 365 instant oats, banana, cinnamon, skim milk, and Artisana Raw Cocoa Butter.
Later in the morning, a package arrived from One Lucky Duck!
Sorry about the horrible picture. It is hard for me to take good pictures at work since I try to do it as fast as possible without people seeing! Anyway, I tried a few products from One Lucky Duck once before courtesy of Melissa and loved them. Their products are raw, vegan, organic, and delicious!
I could not just let the sample pack sit in my desk so I dug right in! I tried the gingerbread cookies first.
Yummy! So cute and delicious tasting! I tried the macaroons next!
I tried the chocolate one too. I really can’t have food in my desk without eating it! This is why I usually only bring one snack a day. I am not the biggest fan of macaroons but both flavors were soft and delicious! I took the rest of the samples home so I will let you know how they are when I try them!
Lunch was a Barney Butter and Crofter’s jelly sandwich with Sea Salt & Vinegar Pirate’s Booty.
I love the Pirate’s Booty! It is like healthified cheese curls. I also like that the serving size is pretty big for just 130 calories! My kind of snack.
After work I headed to the gym and did 50 minutes on the elliptical. My calves are still very sore from Zumba! Too much jumping!
I went home and told the boy we were having some sort of huge salad for dinner since I ate carbs allll day. I need to stop doing that haha. We started off by cooking zucchini, squash, and peppers with some salsa.
I made some portabello mushrooms for my salad (he won’t eat them).
I also steamed up some broccoli for us.
We made rice and corn for the side. It turned out to be the same as our usual Mexican salads without the ground “meat”.
Table shot!
I ruined my healthy dinner with ice cream of course. Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Brownie fro-yo mixed with the boy’s Cake Batter.
So good. He needs to stop buying that every night!
Tuesday!
Repeat oats for breakfast plus a cup of coffee. Oh yeah, tried to wake up for the gym in the morning and failed. Too tired!
For lunch I brought leftover veggies, rice and corn! I also had a salad on the side. Gotta love leftovers!
I ate that and then spent the rest of my lunch break stalking Gossip Girl! They were filming right outside my work! I saw one of the girls getting her makeup done. It was the back of her head and she had black hair. Not sure which one it was! I didn’t see anyone else unfortunately!
I snacked on a yummy Spooky Z-Bar after lunch!
I thought about going to the gym after work but I didn’t have my clothes with me. Once I got home and saw Daisy, I had no motivation to go back out in the cold!
The boy suggested Saki and edamame for dinner so of course I was plenty motivated to go back out for that!! We went to our favorite place called Chikurin.
Saki Bombs!
Edamame!
Miso soup! Perfect for the freezing weather!
I stole his bean sprouts and topped them over my salad! Yum!
I got 2 brown rice rolls: a vegetable roll and an Alaskan roll.
MMMM!
Okay, the boy bought more ice cream last night! Ben & Jerry’s Light Cookie Dough. Heaven.
Daisy enjoyed it
I woke up miserable this morning because I felt gross from eating ice cream the past 3 nights in a row. Eating it at 11:00 every night before bed is not a good habit! I did wake up for the gym today and did 50 minutes on the elliptical so at least I made up for it!
I have fun plans for tonight so stay tuned for a recap tomorrow! Off to do some work!

Give me some of that sushi…but for some reason, I LOVE z-bars and wish I could make my own…or even my own high fiber bars (the new mocha one ROCKS!)

that is so exciting about the GG! I am just slightly obsessed with that show.
I really can't keep ice cream in my house, unfort.
It gets pricey to get it out when I'm REALLY craving it, but I would SERIOUSLY put down the whole 1/2 gallon by myself in 3 days if I had it! But you are working out a TON, and walking a lot I'm sure…don't fret too much about it!

What an adorable little kitten!! I'm not a cat person, but she is a doll! If the boyfriend HAS to have ice cream, make him get the edys pumpkin, it's only 100 calories per 1/2 cup!!

Ice cream is my drug of choice…it is hard for me to keep pints or half gallon ice cream in my house because I always go back with a spoon for more and MORE.
My ex would always do that too…eat din din and snuggle with a pint of ice cream while watching tv…good time =)
Yums Sushi! you need to check out Ginza on Francis Lewis Blvd in Flushing =)…we should go there some time

I have heard nothing but rave reviews about lucky duck – now I see why… the cookies look great!
ice cream in the house is dangerous! definitely think you made a great decision – out of sight, out of mind
Though sometimes ice cream is just necessary.. it keeps us sane!

I've never tried One Lucky Duck but it always sounds really good! Good luck with the no ice cream eating – it's so cold here that I can't even think of eating ice cream, brr!!
Daisy is a cutie!

Nick and I used to eat Dairy Queen literally every night when we first started dating. I always ordered a medium hot fudge sundae, and so did he (I asked for light fudge). But even to this day we eat ice cream every night. The only difference is that it's homemade! I don't eat more than 1/2 a cup (lactose issue with the real stuff), and I add some granola and berries.
